Why is it EVERYTIME I look up in the sky and see a plane, I think of LOST?
C'mon and come clean. I KNOW I'm not the only one.
I haven't been on a plane since 2003 when I was on a business trip in Canada. Consequently, I haven't flown since LOST debuted. In all honesty, I can't wait to fly again. Hopefully, I'll be on a plane in March to visit some family in LA.
Seriously, today the sky is gorgeous and crystal clear. More like April than January. I was loading stuff in the car this morning and I look up and spot an airliner gliding towards Pittsburgh International and all I can think of is LOST. I will literally look up in the sky and follow a plane until it is out of sight. Who knows why. Maybe its because I have flying in my blood (my father was a pilot), or maybe I have some secret fantasy of crashing on a mysterious island with a bunch of hot chicks. ;)
Regardless, I think it says something for the LOST storytellers when a guy can look up in the sky, see a plane, and think of his favorite TV show, rather than it being hi-jacked, in this post-911 era.
Anyway, I know this is Sucks, but I also know that there are many of you here who are just as corny as I am when it comes to LOST (if not more so). Just thought I'd share.
