Drinking game: Take a shot every time she say "Chaaa-Leee". Even the hardest drinkers will be passed out before the second commercial break.

Isn't this thread a little early? Oh well.. it's not like anything else is going on in the LOST board...

I am really depressed because I'M MISSING IT!
I'm going to be on a flight to Los Angeles while the episode is airing...and no, not from Sydney. |

Be careful, catspasms. Does your flight # have any of THE numbers in it? Hey, you'll be fine as long as you don't see any of the cast members of LOST on your flight!

Though I'm sure it's long since been discussed, just for those not in the know, the title means "By Plane" in French.

I don't speak French but I've always associated Par Avion with "Air Mail". Wasn't that what was stamped on envelopes back in the day?
eta: From Wikipedia: "Par Avion" is French for an item being sent "by air". The words "Par Avion" can often be seen on stickers on postage envelopes alongside the words "airmail"

So is the next wave of flashbacks going to be about all the characters' adventures with France?
What, is the head of Dharma French or something? |

I doubt it Mega. The only possible connection would be that Danielle is French. Most likely is the title itself means something.

Shannon was a au pair for a french family (if we are listing french connections).
I'm looking forward to these next few episodes after the tv guide article from this week. Claire's flashback looks good at least interesting...I won't say anything else. |

My completely random guess is that Claire receives a letter "par Avion" from someone of importance
eta: eh, maybe that was too spoilery |

So, Shannon was working for a French Family, Sayid was working in Paris and Rousseau is French. I almost forgot. I think that Hurley really likes French Fries. The French connections are endless.
