After each episode we will determine if any questions have been answered and there will be a running total for points. I hope that this will work without too much trouble. I've tried to write each question as clearly as possible. But really have we ever had a quiz without some controversy? Feel free to ask for clarity on any question before the season starts and before you post your answers. You may not edit your answers once you post them. You may post your answers anytime before February 2nd at 9:00 pm (est). Here are some guidelines for the quiz. Some questions will ask when a certain event might happen during the season. The answers for these questions will be in what episode number. (For example, A. 1-6, B. 7-12, C, 13-18, D. none) There are suppose to be 18 hours of Lost this season so the premier and finale will be 2 hours each. The premier is considered episodes 1 and 2 and the finale will be considered 17 and 18. Since Lost shows frequent flashbacks and flashfowards and has also traveled through time all action is fair game. The only material that doesn't count is the "previously on Lost" segments. Any mention of Locke in an answer will include any character that Terry O'Quinn plays. As before, we must see it happen on screen for it to count. Lastly, I am spoiler-free. I tried to write questions that I thought would not be known to those who read spoilers. If there are questions that some already know the answer to I DON'T CARE and don't want to know about it. Please do not post or pm me about a spoiler. I would rather lose points on the quiz than have something in the season spoiled. To those who are bothered by that and feel some will have an unfair advantage, sorry. Also, some questions are based on my speculation. If I suggest something might happen it doesn't mean I know it will. On with the quiz. Enjoy and remember it's just for fun. 1. When will Sawyer die? (100 points) A. 1-5 B. 6-12 C. 13-16 D. 17-18 E. Will we see the "rape" caves again? (50 points) A. No B. Yes, in a flashback/flashforward or time travel C. Yes, someone will go there in season 6 If it's B and C, will people get credit for either answer?

As far as #21, if both B and C happen the correct answer will be whatever one we see first. If there are any other questions like that, then it will be whatever is broadcast first. I think it's best if most questions only have one correct answer. eta: Thanks QB for the positive feedback and agreeing with me about spoilers!!

What if he becomes some kind of deity and flies off into the sky? Or he dies of natural causes? 9 - Mikhail.. what if he's seen in a FF (unlikely) or umm like in Texas with a cat named Nadia cuz the reset worked. That wouldn't be a flashback. And we can't say he's not really dead, right, because if there is a reset then it's undone (are you following me), then yes he is dead again. Island reset is an option, but not not off island. 13 - Locke alive.. again the reset working has not been taken into account and I see no option for that. In a flashback wouldn't work because that would be real time.. at the time. 17. Option C is Sun, Jin, Ji Yeon.. so if Sun or Jin die before seeing the baby, then C cannot be an answer, right? None of the above should be an option for 8, 9, 13... maybe?

Less confusion is good. #8 - If Ben flies off into the sky that will count as off island. If he dies of natural causes no one will get it right and the Lost writers suck. #9 - I would say if we see Mikhail in a FF then that would mean he isn't really dead, so C. If we see him (anywhere) because the reset worked then B. If we see him alive but the reset didn't work then that would be C too. #13 - Locke in a flashback would be a traditional FB like the ones in the first 3 seasons of Lost or someone remembering him. If the resets works then I would consider that B the island moving in time. Does that make sense to everyone? #17 - Option would not count if only Sun or Jin is reunited with Ji Yeon. If the above clarifies 8, 9, and 13 then I don't think we need none of the above. I would appreciate everyone's input on these and any other questions. I do not claim to have all the answers.

Or is it the actor that we're concerned about? if Man in black (that we saw on the beach) speaks it's E; if locke's body is now inhabited by anti-jacob then B.......? :confused: :) eta: also, for #12: Do we have to see all 6 numbers being entered? Since some have already posted their answers I think all numbers have to be entered into the computer for it to count. The way the question is worded most people are probably assuming all instead of some. Thanks to everyone who has helped to clear up any confusion about the quiz. It's not easy writing questions for the quiz and to think of everything.
