WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart announced that Wrestlicious TakeDown will premiere in North America on Monday, March 1 on Dish Network Channel 361 in the United States via MavTV (mavtv.com) and in Canada on Bite TV (bite.ca). Hart made the announcement during a live appearance on Bite TV's late night program The Surf, hosted by Jason Agnew. Autumn Frost, Harts' co-star on TakeDown, also appeared on the program. For those of you who grew up watching GLOW, this show is produced by the same people who did GLOW's Season 3 and 4.� Hollywood is a GLOW original still on the show, and I think Lightning is too. (But as another character).�� Daffney, Lacey Von Erich, Daizee Haze, Leyla Milani and Lena Yada (along with many of the top female Indy wrestlers) are also all on the roster.

But they do have a good chunk of some of the strongest North American independent talent in there which neither GLOW nor WOW could say for themselves so it may just be a decent watch.

It actually didn't get cancelled for low ratings, but got complaints for raunchy content at the time. (Which if you look at what's on TV these days it's nothing) Plus some of the people behind the scenes were shady and tried to cheat the owner out of money or something. This show is supposed to be almost exactly like GLOW, except the quality of wrestling is supposed to be WAY better.

Posts: 1307 (01/22/10 01:21 AM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	This will be lame.� About 10 years ago the same people who ran GLOW did another show called WOW.� This looks to be very similiar to that.� WOW lasted for only one season and it wasnt a surprise.� I am sure Wrestelicious will suffer the same fate.� You cant recreate the magic that was GLOW.
