Who was in the casket? How did they get off the island? Will they switch to island flashbacks now and have the show set in the real world? .... I hate Lost. Dirty bastards! |

Well maybe since I missed parts of the Finale due to running around the house running errands, I need to watch it again to pick up on some stuff.
Genius? I just think that they have a hell of a way to confuse people. I want this show to wrap up and everything revealed. NOW! Oh yeah, why do people on Lost never ask the right questions? I mean Locke could easily stopped Jack by telling him why it would be bad to contact the outside world... So could've Ben... but no, just be all cryptic. Damnit! |

who died and was in the coffin?
who did Jack call before his almost suicide? is Charlie dead or does he escape through the hole in the window? does Desmond lose his future vision? if it wasn't Penny's boat, whose was it? why did the Others shoot the rounds into the sand instead of into Saiid, Jun and Bernard? who "will be mad" at Kate because she's out talking with Jack? how does Jack get addicted to painkillers? I'm not sure I like the idea of the story continuing off the island, but wow. Just wow! |

I thought Sawyer until Kate said something like, "he's going to wonder where I am." I took that to be Sawyer, so the only guess I have then for the coffin is Ben.

They apparently left prematurely-before they were able to redeem themselves. As a result, they did not fulfill whatever they were supposed to go there for in the first place.
As far as the casket goes-who knows. Whoever it is that held the key to their survival is probably in there. Someone who was meant to change the world apparently did not because they did not accept their fate. So it would seem to me that next season (the half season that it will be) will be full of flash forwards and finally realizing each of their fates. Hence a "new direction" in the show. |

I played with the Tivo a bit when Jack was sitting in the car outside the funeral home... What I could make out on the from the headline of the clipping:
"Man found dead..." I'd have to look more, but I couldn't make out a name anywhere... Maybe at the beginning of the episode... |

Did anyone notice who were sitting behind Jack on the plane at the beginning of this episode?
I thought they looked like Jin & Sun. |

It wasn't Sun and Jin though. I looked very closely because I had initially thought that it was the 815 flight, but it wasn't. They were just lookalikes to trick some viewers into thinking that it was the 815 flight.
