I did not know that Boomie was basically hosting this too so not only do we see and hear Boomie singing, she's going to narrate? This is the greatest.special.ever.

It is not until I see just her sister and her husband I realize she only has them. Her mom and nephew passed and her dad (who I assume is gone either by leaving or dying) and it's just her, her davids, and her sister. Oh and her thousands and thousands of cousins. One nice thing is to see the joy she has to be home despite all the shit that happened to her. Almost every scene she's there you can see she's on that line of happy and sad tears.

I'm going to count any sort of outstretched hands and pointy/pointyposes.

This Christmas This starts off a bit too much Christina "I-Like-To-Stretch-Out-Notes" Aguilera in the beginning but luckily she drops that shit and has a nice balance between booming and breathy notes.

Spotlight Between songs and Boomie visiting her cousin, Ms. Wet (I'm counting to see how many we see btw), who is the music teacher and they sing Spotlight as she walks in. I am sure we're going to hate it.

Give Love on Christmas Day I spent most of the song tryin to find out what the fuck this song is. Apparently it's a Jackson 5 song? I have a feeling Boomie didn't have much practice or she was nervous because she's a bit rocky in the beginning with the arrangement but she gets past that.

Silent Night It's a damn good thing Boomie has awesome tone and texture, otherwise, I would completely hate this. Silent Night is such an oversung song and it's usually bland as dishwater. I believe Mandisa is the only version I actually like. However, Boomie with Boomie's tone and her high notes, its bearable.

Also why is she randomly on a boat? By herself? Also I've decided to count how many times her outstretched hand returns. So far, I counted at least 12 with 2 pointy points.

Christmas Medley (Joy To The World / Hark, The Herald Angel Sing / Tell It On The Mountain) Boomie loves her some God but isn't being bitchy like Mandisa. Yes. Now she returns to her church to sang the shit out of some Xmas songs ALSO WITH A GOSPEL CHORUS

Boomie actually lets the Chorus sing most of Joy to the World only chiming in with a few lines. Nice to know she's not a diva. Then she segways into HTHAS but I don't know if it's because she's in a black church or something but she hauls ass through it.

Then TIOTM is mostly shouting with the chorus seizuring through it. Also they put Boomie in a very unflattering top to cut from shoulder up, making her look rather large.

The Christmas Song This is one of my favorite Xmas songs that both Elliott and Kim have covered and did awesome. So clearly Boomie would hit it out the park right?

Nope. Most of her songs start off shaky and she slips into it but in this song it's not til the last part (the second REINDEER LINE) she gets into it. She seems slightly off the beat for the most part, probably due to her Christinaing much of the time. Im also distracted by the massive rock on her finger.

Baby It's Cold Outside And Im Going to Rape You This is Boomie's ONLY special guest, I guess nobody wanted to go to Chicago. Michael Buble seems randomly shoehorned in, like according to her she likes him and I do too so I'm not questioning it.

The duet is okay. Both of them sound awesome but for some reason Boomie decided that the songs need to be fast as hell and this song is more interesting (like the rest) slower. Also, the whole point of the song is that the man is the wolf and the woman is the bunny.

WHO'S THE BUNNY NOW BITCH? Boomie is much taller than him and I keep thinking MASSIVE BOOMIE IS GOING TO CRUSH YOU. Where was I? Oh right, with her being taller the deliveries have to sell the song and Buble doesn't come off strong enouh to be trying to convince Boomie to stay inside and succumb to the date rape drug that was clearly slipped into her drink

Let It Snow Boomie segways into this and it's better than BICO (probably because she had BICO to warm up on).Aso why is this only got a piano arrangement? BICO works with a piano but LIS needs a bit more.

Oh Come All Ye Faithful This song is done acapella and it's 5 black women (her and the Nickles Sisters (Crystal, Cherry (The teacher), Debra, and Marba)) singing together so I'm sure you can guess what I think. It's perfectly suited for Boomie's voice (every part) and since one of them is a music teacher, she probably arranged it so it's perfectly done. Perfectly.

Oh Holy Night A song that Boomie HAS to sing slow right? Yes! It completely works! This must have been her last song to do since she isn't rushing and even gets her Christina notes to not sound annoying when they show up. And when she finally hits the big notes (since you knew there were coming) they're actually right on time and work. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.

We Wish You A Merry Christmas Boomie doesn't sing but does several pointy poses through this.

Two unintentionally funny moments to look for:
1. At one point Boomie is riding in a horse carriage and starts going HO HO HO to people walking.
2. They interview a few kids outside of the church Boomie is singing in and you can STILL HEAR HER THROUGH THE WALLS.
