If they bring back the past players... 
...why not make it somewhat interesting and different. Some may and some will not like it, but it is a thought. Seasons versus seasons as an idea, I admit I am curious as to thoughts and I understand there are some who simply do not want past players or multiple time players.
The following is an idea of a cast, based on who might be willing to play (time may get some interested again) and who I think may make things interesting, I am aware it is far from perfect.
Season 1 & 2:
