I don't know if Chelsea made a mistake in the reward challenge. What good would taking people who want to vote you out do? Doesn't her taking Kim and Sabrina keep Sab in check and give them energy for the Immunity Challenge increasing the odds that one of them will win? Alicia might not have been all gung ho about voting out Chelsea if Alicia lost the IC and faced a 1 in 5 chance of drawing a rock if she wanted to tie it up.

Whether or not it was a good or a bad move, what was funny was that she went on this long thing about how she was going to not do what Kat did ... and then did exactly what Kat did. I think it would have been smarter to split up the 3 people who could break their alliance. Take Sab and Alicia or Sab and Christina. Just keep em separated. That said, I totally understand the appeal of taking your friends on rewards ... esp when those friends have taken you.

I believe that F3 is also Christina & Tarzan's best and only chance of winning. The only way I think Alicia & Christina's votes made sense if they were caught-up in some kind of prisoner's dilemma. They're both better off in the long-run if they vote for Chelsea, even if there's a tie, but both are convinced the other person will chicken out and vote for Tarzan. Given that, it makes sense to roll with the punches and vote for Tarzan as well (since there's no benefit to being on the losing end of a 2-4 vote). Of course, it's easier for Alicia to risk the rocks since she would have immunity. So would, I believe, Tarzan and Chelsea (since I believe that the people with the tied votes are immune from picking the rocks). Thus, Christina is the only one of Alicia-Christina-Tarzan at risk of going home this round from a purple rock. Perhaps Alicia realized this and concluded, based on observing Christina for 5 weeks, there is no way Christina would risk that. After all, it makes sense for Sabrina, Chelsea & Kim to vote out one of Alicia-Cat-Tarzan. If they don't, the remaining two of Sabrina, Chelsea & Kim will be in the minority (and unlike Kim, Sabrina & Chelsea don't have an immunity idol). They can't vote out Alicia (absent getting her to pull an Erik/Brandon) and Christina is no risk to get votes at FTC merely for being a man. If there were a 3:3 tie, Kim & Sabrina would be at risk of going home, but only if Christina is willing to risk that as well. If Alicia predicts Christina won't do that, Sabrina & Kim may predict that as well, and Alicia may conclude that they'll make that prediction. So perhaps the whole storyline of Kim selling Alicia is just an illusion.

This makes no sense, and I award the FAIL trophy to the Survivor producer who agreed with this. The odds increase to 2:1 odds for an Alicia positive outcome in the random pick if this retardo-excludo rule applies.
