Last night we found out that StarringAmy passed away, probably due to complications from pneumonia although she did have other health conditions that could
have been a contributing factor. I know she took a significant share of abuse here and can only ask that this thread doesn't degenerate into anything. Amy
did not have the easiest life handed to her, but she did overcome many obstacles to graduate high school, find employment and become a contributing member of
society, even living on her own. I met Amy in 2007 and since then have been honored to be a friend of hers and hope she has found peace.

I'm heartbroken
and still getting over the shock, she was such a genuine, honest, loving, big hearted girl. Not the same without her.  This is tragic and horrible, my
thoughts and prayers are with her family. I can't imagine the pain they are feeling.

this is v. sad news and i hope people recognize that going forward. forums user salchicho found this post by her and i feel like it was very touching &
appropriate for the situation:
Valentine's day is my favorite holiday. Sure all the couples can be cute and can make a single person feel so sad and alone in this world and even more so on a day like today, because people tend to look at Valentine's day as just a couple's holiday and I just disagree with that. To me Valentine's day is about love and that can mean your love for a others, those who are no longer with us, those who are with us staying strong through the bad times and the good times and maybe even love you have for you... you know what they say, love yourself... many of us need to work on that. And not just people. Your love for your pets, your love for anything that you love... like happiness. Love and happiness are two really important things in this life in my opinion. I believe it is best to show love to your loved ones every chance you get, because you never know when you will last see or speak to them and Valentine's day is a reminder of that. A reminder to always remember and to never forget about who or what you love. Keep the love in your heart, dont trash it, because you could regret it. |

Amy was actually a very real person and rare special flower and I'm glad we crossed paths as randomly as we did in yahoo voice chats via willydarko long
before she found her way here. Even though she's dead 4eva I'm glad I got to know her at all because she was truly one in a billion. <3
We all know she put up with a lot on here and also had her fair share of problems in her own life, but she always remained honest and fun online. When she was happy she was as genuine as you can be on the internet and when she was laying a smackdown on someone she was full of laffos. NO ONE WILL EVER BE LIKE HER ....but I guess that's a good legacy to have.

Yes, it's very legit. I've seen her obituary from a legit source and it's happened.
Pappy, seriously Anti has also been given the obituary and obviously by the sticky has confirmed too. Amy was a sweetheart. We talked a lot about her health problems and never did she complain about that or even the "abuse" she got online. She always said "Oh I don't let it get to me" She was only 25 yrs old, but more of an adult than a lot of people I've encountered. |
