I think we should all survive. Just in case, NOBODY PANIC! until Anti tells us to. Edited to add: Google just moved the "long range" missile stories off the front page and the articles about thursdays short range missiles were back up. Plus CNN had a story up as well I can't find now. And the ones I did find are calling it "scud missiles" now instead of "long range" which maybe the same thing but the wording sure did change in a hurry. Seoul - North Korea fired three more missiles off its east coast, a day after it fired four short-range missiles, according to South Korean media reports early Saturday. The missiles were apparently Scud rockets with a reach of 500 kilometres, the national news agency Yonhap reported, quoting government sources. Now it seems they were practicing on Japan and managed to make it about 300 miles into the sea. SK is the one originating the reports and they seem to not want to really say what is happening... But it looks like us and our friends the Japs are going to live to see another day. SEOUL, South Korea - North Korea fired three missiles into the sea between the Communist state and Japan on Saturday morning, the South Korean military announced. News reports here called them ballistic Scud or Rodong missiles. The South Korean military declined to clarify what types of missiles the North had fired. But if the reports were correct, the North Korean tests on Saturday were bound to raise tensions between the North and its neighbors. After a nuclear test by North Korea on May 25, the United Nations Security Council adopted a resolution that, among other things, barred it from testing ballistic missiles. A South Korean military official, speaking on condition of anonymity citing government policy, said the missiles launched Saturday were believed to have flown no more than 300 miles, indicating that they might be the North's Scud-type missiles. The South Korean news agency Yonhap quoted military sources as saying the missiles were either Scud or Rodong missiles. And is it me or is Rodong a much more missiley name than scud...

Call me crazy but something is wrong with that picture. But now its too late and they have the missiles so what's to stop them from killing us? We should just let israel attack them instead of stopping them because Obama wants peace.

Korea threatened to blow up Hawaii on the 4th, just to give us the finger. Supposedly, the US has placed anti-missiles in Hawaii, Alaska and California. (I guess Washington and Oregon can go suck it?) Also there's some missile launching ship off Hawaii that is supposed to retaliate if we are attacked. So yeah, I think Obama is doing more than just 'expressing concern'. BUT...intelligence sources say Korea hasn't been seen doing whatever it is you'd have to do to build a missile that would hit Hawaii. Kim Jon is just stomping his foot and trying to get attention from...well anybody again.
