I'm pretty sure you can get a ticket for being the only car on the road and driving in the left lane for no good reason. Good reasons would include prepping to make a left turn off the highway, passing, poor road conditions in the right lane, and being a south paw.

I can get a dozen tickets and they don;t matter. Just ignore them... you can drag it out forever. You can't go to jail for them. And you are not going to. they are all rubbish and just criminal. I have a stack a show dog couldn't jump over. They don;t matter. They don;t.

I have an hour long trip I take near daily and I find it a lot less stressful to just set my speed and kind of zone out in the left lane. or if I am trying to do somethign else. I mean really, no one can "prove" I am holding up traffic, cause its just not true. People in a "hurry" all have the "get out of my way mind set." And thing they are entitled to something.

The first time I ever drove on the autobahn at 24, I got a sweet lesson about being in the left lane from the Germans. To this day, I only use it for passing.
