The Outcasts |

Has is been proven either way whether or not the Outcasts actually lived on limited rations before they were brought back into the game? It seems hard to
believe that they basically lived on another island like the other two tribes, or were in the loser lodge and forced to eat just rice and beans (although
they'd still have an advantage, being able to sleep on beds).

Nicole Delma tried to release info about it. I remember her saying they were treated awfully and stole food from production.

The Outcasts were stronger than other two then-present PI tribes.

What does 'limited' rations mean anyway? Did Probst stick a stack of Lean Cuisines in the island microwave once a day and pass 'em around?
Morgan was frickin' starving (their own fault of course) and while Drake was better off with Rupert bringing in fish and winning a couple of great food rewards, they were still sleeping in sand, playing the game (with Fairplay on their tribe causing havoc no doubt), doing the camp chores every day and enduring itchy mosquito bites day and night while the Outcasts were as I believe sleeping on beds/cots, under shelter and whatever their limited rations were they didn't have to work for or win them. So was the Outcast challenge unfair? Completely and utterly. But crap like that happens on Survivor so if you're on the show you just have to roll with it and if you're watching just sit back and enjoy the fireworks ...unless you favorite gets screwed by said unfair twist then go ahead and rant away. It'll make you feel better. Of course the Outcast twist really only screwed Shawn, Osten and Savage so does anybody really give a crap about that one? |

It's not like it matters now...

Also those little purple ribbons and headbands or whatever they had helped them in the challenge. I remember someone from Morgan or Drake mentioning that in
their final chat.

"Of course the Outcast twist really only screwed Shawn, Osten and Savage so does anybody really give a crap about that one?" It screwed a lot more players than that because it gave Fairplay life. The guy was playing for second place at best but then he received two gift goats to play along. Anyway, it's not about who was screwed by the twist, it's about the integrity of the game. As we've seen over the years, Survivor has very little integrity but that twist was the worst idea ever from a competition point of view. It was a cheap way to create entertainment and, judging by the love for Lill, Sandra and the season in general, most of you guys bought it. |

Lill was HATED a lot lot LOT more than she was LOVED.
Don't let that ridiculous recent Lill thread fool you. She has four or five "fans" here, tops. |

Lill was a G.ODESS. She destroyed the games of Savage/Rupert/JF and Burton <3 |

Nicole and Michelle T dominated The Outcasts. Burton was overrated and returned the game with Lil, including their original tribes which they started.

I must say the OUTCAST twist was one of the best twist they had. It paid off. I would not mind them doing it again but we all know it's impossible.
Anyday: OUTCAST > HII. |

And, about Drama = Soap Opera: I'm sorry that you have been so deprived that you don't know what real drama can be. You should read a book. |

If you want a twist that is totally unfair, it is fan vs.favorite. Now that is unfair. Outcast is nothing compared to that.
And Yul's idol. Don't get me started on that. |

You know, if they REALLY made the Outcasts live on limited rations and such, they could have shown all that on the Clip Show that they have every season about
half way thru.
If it had been up to me, I would have put the OutCast tribe on the same island that they do the challenges on, in some manner where it may not make sense at the time, but once it is finally revealed, they bring out the outcast tribe and it is clear that they lived on the challenge beach and were taken away while challenges were done. The fact that they could have EASILY done this, and if they hyped that the Clip Episode would show what was going on during the Outcasts tribe, it would have gotten good ratings. Because they did not do this and give us no concrete evidence, no I do not believe the Outcasts were living it hard like they claim. For all we know, they were eating Steak and Lobsters dinners 3 times a day, sleeping in a 5 star hotel resort's bed, drinking whatever they wanted, etc, etc. |
