Just a question: Does anyone else find it a little creepy that Billy Mays commercials are still airing on TV? In fact, I was seeing them even a few days after
his death.

"The office said Mays last used cocaine in the few days before his death but was not under the influence of the drug when he died. Hillsborough County
spokeswoman Lori Hudson said nothing in the toxicology report indicated the frequency of Mays' cocaine use.
Cocaine can raise the arterial blood pressure, directly cause thickening of the left wall of the ventricle and accelerate the formation of atherosclerosis in the coronary arteries, the release said." |

With him, the lead singer of Barenaked Ladies, Belushi and Farley all being proven cokeheads, could we please get rid of the stereotype that people who do coke are skinny? |

The man was a walking medicine cabinet.
Official documents show the following drugs were in Mays' system -- hydrocodone (Vicodin), oxycodone (painkiller), alprazolam (Xanax), nordiazepam (Valium), benzoylecgonine (byproduct of cocaine) and temazepam (anti-anxiety). Ethanol -- alcohol -- was also in Mays' system. |

Is there some law that the result of autopsies have to be released to the public? I fail to see what purpose releasing this information served. Why is this
not a protected privacy thing under HIPPA?

Probably because he was a public figure. Plus he got pwned on the airplane they day before, so people need to be reassured that little plastic oxygen masks are not trying to kill us. |
