Jeff Probst's Blog - Episode 2 I should have done this earlier in the week, but anyway.... I like Ep. 2 more than the premiere. Not to say that the premiere was a weak episode or not much happened, but many more exciting events occurred in Ep. 2, so let's get to them! Bomba continued to be compelling, both in this fanfic and especially in the game itself. The split vote at their first Tribal Council left things in a state of confusion heading into round 2. At the center of this was Michael, who targeted Greg, voted for Greg, but had to quickly cover it up. What you didn't see in the fanfic was the length that Michael went to do this. Greg asked him if he voted for him, and of course Michael denied it.....but he took it one step further. He actually took a screen shot of his vote for Greg and changed it around using Paint (I think) to make it look like he voted for Brandon instead. Greg thought it was real, so the case was closed, but obviously other people still weren't too trusting of Michael. And then, in the hour or so following Brandon's elimination, Susan pulled together that new alliance that took control this episode. Tina wasn't online, so Rodger was being hit with the new offer from Susan, Elisabeth, and Greg all at the same time. I forget if Michael and Teresa were online at that time too. As you can see, it ended up with a power shift, and Michael was booted from the game. That's all fine and well, but it's nothing compared to the complexities of Otoxha. This tribe was extremely entertaining in round 2 for so many reasons. First off, Ramona and Kelly were slowly stepping up their games and becoming more active. This put pressure on power players like Tom and Silas, who each have seemed to gravitate towards one of those two. Jeff and Gretchen are still hanging out in the middle of the pack, trying to assess the situation before making a move. Richard and Kim are in a cozy little alliance with Tom and Silas while having no solid back-up plan as of yet. Now that paragraph right there neatly summarized the dynamics, but that is literally the tip of the iceberg. There is so much more going on with Otoxha that I simply cannot put all of it in the fanfic. However, what you read in the episodes will help you get the gist of the story of Belize and how it played out. The hotly anticipated Episode 3 is coming up. If you want to fully understand what happens, you need to pay attention to the last Otoxha scene in Episode 2, the one right before the immunity challenge. As Richard says in a confessional, a shit storm is beginning to brew. Oh yes, it is. No one had an idea exactly what was about to happen, though. I can say that this scene I just mentioned plays a heavy role in the events that unfold in Ep. 3. Last but not least was one of my personal favorite scenes - Greg and Elisabeth writing silly letters for each other. Here's a bit of background: Kate was one of my excellent co-hosts in this game, and Greg and Elisabeth decided to have some fun with her. They gave each other tasks, and one of the tasks was to send those letters you saw to Kate. Of course they did it and it made for a fun read in PMs that night after the first Tribal Council. I love these little moments. They have nothing to do with the strategic game but they help shape the characters a little and show that these people had fun amidst a competitive game. If I can find more moments like these, I'll surely include them. This wraps up my second Probst's blog of the season. Episode 2 was a good one, but would you believe me if I said that Episode 3 was far better? Depending on who you are, you know this is absolutely true. To make it clear, Michael was voted out on a Thursday night. The next challenge/Tribal Council was on the following Sunday, which meant the remaining 14 players had the weekend to play the game. Things got more chaotic literally as every hour passed, culminating in a crazy, outlandish move at the very end of Tribal Council that.....well, you'll see. And you'll see it in its full glory, I promise you. Episode 3 will be posted tomorrow (Sunday). Thanks for reading the blog! - Jeff |

EPISODE 3
Previously on Survivor….
The seven remaining Bomba members questioned each other after their first Tribal Council. Though Michael denied voting for Greg, several people knew the truth about what he had done, including Greg himself. Susan used the information to pull together an alliance consisting of herself, Elisabeth, Greg, Rodger, and Tina. This put Rodger and Tina in the middle of the tribe, as they were also aligned with Michael and Teresa.
At Otoxha, things were becoming increasingly complicated. Tom and Silas had differing opinions about who they should vote out first. When Ramona brought up Kim's name as the person who should leave, it was a no-brainer for Tom to vote out Ramona first, as Kim was an ally of both Tom and Silas. Meanwhile, Kelly, another outsider, continued to try to get to know her tribe members.
The complications were for naught, as Otoxha won their second immunity challenge in a row. Michael learned he was next on the chopping block but had no way of saving himself, as both Rodger and Tina and even Teresa, his three closest allies, turned on him, making Michael the second person voted out of Belize.
14 are left. Who will be voted out tonight?
---
BOMBA
The tribe had just voted out Michael, and Teresa was realizing the affects of her actions in the game.
Teresa (to Greg): I always feel bad for voting out someone that is nice to talk to. I guess this vote was just sort of mob mentality. Everyone wanted to keep themselves safe. Don't sorry yourself sick over it though. It's just a game. Greg (to Teresa): It just sucks that he had to go without an actual reason. Did he vote for you? I hope it was a good kind of vote for you. Want to swear that we never vote with the mob again? It can be the basis of our relationship.
Teresa (confessional): I feel horribly responsible for Mike's departure in this game. I told him to start spreading the Greg vote around to see if anyone would latch on to it. I don't know how forcefully he was doing that, but I think I spread the Greg vote too and it didn't come back to haunt me in any way. I just feel bad for doing this to someone in the game. At least the tribe will be on better terms now though.
Tina (to Elisabeth): I'm glad we could have some tribal unity on that. Did Teresa fight at all? I'm surprised Michael turned on her too. I guess they weren't meant to be like us, huh? Elisabeth (to Tina): Teresa seemed to be fine with it; I guess those two weren't overly close after all? Either that or Teresa figured there was nothing she could do to change it and wants to bide her time to flip on all of us at the swap or something. I can't tell with her, since she doesn't seem upset.
---
OTOXHA
The Otoxha tribe had won their second challenge, but they were literally on the brink of chaos. The scheming prior to the challenge had spread like wild fire, and people like Ramona knew they were targets for specific people. Ramona decided enough was enough, and she needed to start taking some control for herself.
Gretchen (to Ramona): It's nice to stick it to Bomba, but it's highly unlikely we'll win everytime. So, I'm up for talking game and getting past the chit-chat. Ramona (to Gretchen): We need to chat now then! I think there's a lot of devious behavior going on behind the scenes in our tribe. GRETCHEN: Yeah! Seriously! I mean what is up over here? There is such a weird vibe going around. I think there are some very sneaky players over here. Most act like they don't want to chat "game" but then they're doing it all behind the scenes while playing the part of the "Let's win, blah blah blah BS."
Gretchen (confessional): What a bunch of two-sided players. I mean, yeah, open mouth - insert foot - and CHEW on the irony. I know we're all two-sided around here, but this is like the calm before the storm. Some shitso is gonna hit the fanso. It's only a matter of time.
Ramona (to Gretchen): Big Tom seems like a center of information to me. I love him, but I think just about everybody does. He talks a lot about mundane things to me, and I notice that the messages are quite long too - makes me like him, but I also realize that he's giving me nothing.
Jeff also had some information that Ramona wanted. He had been talking to Tom a lot before the previous challenge and knew exactly what Tom was thinking, and he decided to let Ramona know.
Jeff (to Ramona): Tom explained it that you brought up Kim's name first and then suddenly your name came up and was tossed around and that he knew Kelly prevoted for you. My feeling is that there's something going on here but keep that to yourself and just keep talking to people to figure out what happened. Ramona (to Jeff): The other two online before were Big Tom and Kim. I've always felt that they've been allied - he's told me that he liked her ever since the first day, which I thought was a bit weird since she ends messages so fast. He probably didn't like that I'm not the biggest Kim fan. JEFF: Tom's a mover over here. So yeah, it's likely Tom was protecting Kim and took advantage of the situation. RAMONA: That is so annoying! I feel like Tom is definitely at the center of things on this tribe, and I'm not particularly fond of that, with him targeting me and all.
Ramona (confessional): I like Jeff. I feel like he's the best player on my team though - what a manipulator, and he always has the inside scoop.
Talk continued about who was allied with whom. The following morning, Kelly returned and she had time to talk with Ramona, and they decided to compare notes. Ramona informed her that Tom had been protecting Kim, as had Richard, and Kelly told her that Tom said to vote for Ramona.
Kelly (to Ramona): Well if Tom's Slim Shady then maybe we could just convince everyone that he needs to be the first target if we lose...why should we let him run the show and run his mouth? How funny would it be for the two "underdogs" in the tribe to flip the game and take over the world? Ramona (to Kelly): Would love that! If we can pull it off, while keeping the other two loyal to the team, then we definitely need to do it. I've always gotten some really negative vibes from Tom - got the feeling that he was smart but overplaying and turns out I was right. Who does he think he is? KELLY: I'm so pumped Mona...we're gonna fight through this and come out on top...I'm telling you...regardless of what happens, you're my #1 ally...you're the one who first gave me the time of day and treated me like a valuable member of this tribe and I appreciate that...I won't forget it. Whatever we do, let's do it together. We make a good team. RAMONA: Agreed! We've pretty much figured our whole tribe out through some detective work - what a great duo!
One player was about to make a big power move though, a move that could have huge ramifications for the Otoxha tribe.
Silas (confessional): I'm done with Tom. He proved to me he isn't a reliable ally because he makes rash decisions that can't be backed up rationally. Of course Ramona was going to find out she was being targeted, are you stupid?? Now he's getting caught in lies so he's telling even worse, more ridiculous lies to cover his lies. Ramona isn't buying them, why would she? So what I did today was decide that my loyalty is going to have to go to Ramona and Jeff... Tom gave me no choice. I have to work with people who are going to play smoother, not force things.
Silas (to Ramona): I don't trust Tom at all, he is slippery... and I want to go into more detail with you but it has to stay between us. I trust you Mona, and you're someone I want to be working with and I feel bad because I haven't been around enough for us to really solidify anything concrete. Ramona (to Silas): Silas, you can definitely trust me. There's something fishy up with Tom and his cronies and we need to put our finger on it. SILAS: Ok I do trust you, I have a lot that we need to discuss. Do you think that Jeff/Gretchen/Kelly would all band together? RAMONA: Kelly mentioned to me that those three and you and me need to work together against the other trio earlier. I know Gretchen's on board and Jeff seems willing as well.
Tom, in the meantime, was reworking his entire game plan. He wanted to change things in a very massive way.
Tom (confessional): Gretchen and I continue to talk openly about everything. We talk about the vote chat. We talk about how it was a clusterfuck discussion. Jeff and I start talking about it, and Jeff is talking to Gretchen about it as well. We all agree, weird things are happening here. Talking to Ramona... agreed on all counts so far. Hours of conversation go down. I feel like I get more sincerity and honesty and good faith than I did in days of conversation with Silas and Richard and Kim. Just like that, I decide fuck my alliance. I'm making a new one.
Tom (to Gretchen): I want to play the game with you. I trust you completely and I want to show that to you. I want to play the game with you, and I want to play the game with Jeff and I want the three of us to be strong and stable and work. And I'm hoping you take this as a very clear sign that I mean it. Gretchen (to Tom): Thanks for getting all that out there. I mean, I can see now how you ended up in a heated position in this clusterfuck of a tribe. And I almost feel like a school counselor or something the way everyone is finally spilling everything and trying to get stuff off their chest.
Gretchen (confessional): He is putting all kinds of eggs in my basket and he is banking on me big time. Some eggs of his are going in Jeff's basket. And maybe a couple more in mine. Or so he wants me to believe. Writing novels that I have to read 3 times to dissect it all. That's what ya get for playing so hard so fast, dude.
Tom (to Jeff): At this point Jeff, last night seems to be making things more crystallized in a way. Gretchen and I are talking a lot more, and Ramona and I are having some honest dialogue as well. This is extremely refreshing, and it's making me very hopeful that maybe this could all be the birth of something genuinely solid for some of us.
Jeff (confessional): This entire clusterfuck is down to one person. Tom. I have never seen anyone cause this much to come out through his own really dumb actions. He's scrambling hardcore. He might last longer, he might not, but at least he's keeping things interesting.
And then Tom went and tried to recruit yet another new ally - Ramona, the person he had been trying to get voted out the night before.
Tom (to Ramona): I want to be with people who aren't playing this game with complete and utter bullshit right now. I feel like last night was just one big giant crapfest of lies and shit, and I'm not interested in playing with people who are just looking to BS their way through the game. Hell, Mona, if you're one of those people, then to hell with this drama, we could just join up and make things clearer at this rate.
Ramona (confessional): I may have put myself in an OK position (and that's good because I was in a shitty one before) by putting a lot of attention on Tom. Now everybody is wary of that snake. If all goes well, he'll probably be blindsided at the next Tribal Council. Everyone knows what a shitty player and scumbag he is.
Things were about to get even more interesting, as it was only Friday afternoon, still more than two days before the next challenge. Otoxha was about to enter a weekend of pure hell.
---
BOMBA
After Michael's departure, Teresa was on the outs in her tribe. She had a feeling she could be next, but several others didn't want her feeling like she was actually on the outside, so Elisabeth and Tina came up with a plan.
Tina (to Elisabeth): Should we tell Teresa an actual name to ease her mind? Like Greg? I mean, she would buy it, he hasn't been around too much. Greg would understand, we'd just have to reassure him he's safe! Elisabeth (to Tina): I think if she asks, we might be best off doing that. Because if we don't, we're alienating her for sure. I'd rather have her pissed off at us because we're trying to ensure nobody flips.... than to have her stay till a swap and screw us. And yeah we'll have to reassure Greg that he's safe but I think it's our best option at the moment.
Tina (to Teresa): I wouldn't be surprised if Greg's name pops up, to be honest. He's awesome but hasn't answered anyone's PMs in a while. Teresa (to Tina): I think that it would be the same move to get rid of Greg next. I mean if we want to keep this tribe as strong as possible then we need to keep the most active people.
Meanwhile, Susan was still working her new allies. She talked to Tina about making a three-way alliance with the two of them and Rodger, and together they formed a powerful trio.
Susan (confessional): I told Tina I was closest to Rodger, which is true. I do trust him, but the person I trust the MOST is my sweet, Lissybeth. <3 I just can't reveal that shit to Tina, since she feels like she is my number 1. Actually I want them ALL to be my number 1 but not know the other is. How long that can work, or if it can period is yet to be seen, I just hope it doesn't get me into some bad shit.
Greg had also showed up once again in Belize after being absent for some time.
Greg (to Rodger): I.am.ready.to.win. It's in the stars. You best be praying your arse off, Rodger. Rodger (to Greg): We must win, and I am praying young buck. WE SHALL PERSEVERE! GREG: I heard that the target could be me if it's not Teresa. Acuz of my absence. I'm glad I have you on my side though, and you know I'm on yours.

OTOXHA
Tom was in trouble, and he knew it. He had jumped ship from a tight alliance with Silas to try to start something with Ramona. As he started to obtain information during the weekend, however, the picture was starting to become clear, and Tom now had a new mission.
Tom (confessional): That's it. I'm going to war. I will not be voted out tomorrow night if we lose. I refuse. I fucking refuse. WAR.
And indeed, Tom went on his war path. During the weekend leading up to Sunday's challenge and Tribal Council, Tom worked harder than ever to secure certain allies, including Jeff and Gretchen. He also brought Kim and Richard back into the fold, two people he had just declared would not be close allies of his any longer. Tom knew that Silas had joined up with Ramona and Kelly, and that trio needed to be taken down immediately.
Tom (to Gretchen): I really think there is a power core on this tribe right now and it's centered around Ramona. She's got people watching her back with every move going on right now, and I think we're on the outside of it. I don't know if Jeff is with them or if Kim is with them, but I'm absolutely not with them and I think they're gunning for my at this point. They have to be. Because if they really are making this power alliance, we are absolutely on the outside and we are fucked if we lose. They will vote me out so fast and you and possibly Rich are going to follow me right after. Seriously. This is not paranoia. This is me connecting the dots that they gave me themselves. This is big and we need to move on this fast. Gretchen (to Tom): I feel like I'm sitting in this weird holding pattern cause there's all this stuff going on and so many people who aren't caught up to it, so there's not a lot of new info that I could shed any light on. Cause I'm getting confused around here as it is.
Gretchen (confessional): I'm one of the most active people on this tribe as far as participation goes and everything. I chat people up lots. I didn't start all gung-ho "OMG will U be my ALLY??? in the first few days. Just chatting and trying to get people to open up and see where they want to take the conversation. But yeah, Gretch will ditch these mo-fos if the right situation presents itself.
Tom (to Jeff): Jeff, I know people are hardcore wanting me out right now -- Ramona especially, and Silas and Kelly are with her. There's no doubt about this. Which means they're a solid alliance. And it also means that Rich and Gretchen are on the outside of it, at least. Rich especially, as Silas, Ramona and Kelly have been throwing him under a bus almost as much as they've been trying to fuck me over, I know it.
Jeff (confessional): It's brilliant. I've never seen something fall into my lap like this before but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. I'm pretty sure I would have gotten through at least 5 tribal councils just fine assuming there was no switch but now all I need is to stay on my toes and make sure nothing turns against me. I have a few people I trust. Everyone's going to do what's in their best interest so that's the main thing to count on.
The paranoia had been spread throughout the Otoxha tribe, but one person really enjoyed it.
Kelly (confessional): Things are looking great, on the surface at least...Tom's been caught in many lies lately and has only helped me with all of that. It appears that the alliance Ramona and I wanted with Jeff, Gretch and Silas may pan out and everyone seems on board. I may have come out from under the rock I've been under and be finally seen as a part of this tribe and make things happen...very excited. This could really buy me some time here to change things around for myself!
In the meantime, Richard was trying to figure everything out. He had been away earlier in the weekend and came back to the sudden chaos that was his tribe. Tom had been telling him that Silas was no longer with them, but he was also trying to watch his back in case too many people were against Tom now.
Richard (to Tom): I'm trying to see where Gretchen & Jeff's heads are at. They're agreeing that everything is crazy right now, and they're not sure which way to roll. Not hearing much from Silas right now, but if we can get Jeff & Gretchen, we'll be in good shape.
Richard (confessional): Okay, things went downhill over the weekend at a rapid f#$%ing pace! Apparently there is an alliance that no one really knew about. Apparently sh#t went down yesterday and now I don't know what the F#%k is going on. UGH! Let's see how today goes......
Gretchen and Jeff, as Tom's new potential allies, discussed their options together.
Gretchen (to Jeff): I mean, he's putting a lot of eggs in both our baskets. I'm trying to not get overwhelmed by everything. I don't know where the others heads are at voting-wise, other than most seeming irritated at Tom. Jeff (to Gretchen): I'm telling him to keep calm and be careful. And that it might not be happening. Because if he steps on any toes he's going to be in trouble and I don't want that. He could mention our names and then we'll have explaining to do. He wants us to be the final 3 and that's nice of him but he needs to calm down and not give people a reason to target him. GRETCHEN: Yeah, we do have to be careful around Tom cause he is a huge talker. I keep thinking he'll make you and me look bad at some point. But he is all kinds of putting his entire trust in you and me.
Gretchen (confessional): I don't feel like drawing any attention to myself by rocking any major boats, because I think one of the only people who has a grasp that I'm a player so far is Jeff. Which means I will have to cut him loose at some point...because if he's as smart and crafty as I am....he would do the same to me. And he should.
Kim knew the tribe was splintering, though she didn't have as much information as certain others. She knew her two closest allies, Tom and Silas, were now against each other, so she tried to spread the peace while she had the chance.
Kim (to Ramona): My biggest fear right now is a switch and that's why I want us to all be unified because even if we win every Immunity, if we're divided and then we swap, Bomba could just destroy us which would really suck after all of our hard work. I don't want to be the Rotu or Timbira that implodes on itself.
---
The tribes gathered for their third immunity challenge after a long weekend of intense strategizing and game playing. The challenge was to search through two different sets of paragraphs while finding missing letters, using those letters to form two phrases related to Survivor.
Bomba took an early lead thanks to Greg, who also posted the final phrase.
Greg: Fire is life. Jeff Probst: Bomba wins immunity! Rodger: YAY!!!!! Tina: Thank you Jebus! Susan: OMG BOMBA OWNAGE, BITCHES! Teresa: Greg you are so awesome. Tom: Nice going, Bombastards. Greg: Thank you. Ooh gurls one of you is boutsta get voted out. Susan: No offense, Rodger, BUT GREG IS MY NEW GOD! Rodger: BLASPHEMY!!! The Lord is our only God my dear!!!
Jeff Probst: Bomba, for the first time in this game, you are immune. Otoxha, head on over to Tribal Council. We have a lot to talk about.
--- OTOXHA
As Otoxha prepared to boot the first person from their tribe, things continued to spiral out of control behind the scenes. Tom, Richard, and Kim were trying their best to convince Jeff and Gretchen to vote for Ramona.
Kim (to Jeff): Okay so we really have to talk now. I'll just cut right to the chase. do you feel comfortable being in an alliance with me, you, Gretchen, Rich, and Tom? I've heard the other three are together and trying to play everyone against each other, this seems like the best way to keep ourselves safe.
Tom (to Jeff): Dude, this can work and this can happen. I know they're gunning for me hard, and that's because they are SOLID with each other. Completely solid. No one's breaking in that. We can't let them just stay in cushy control when it puts the rest of us in their hands.
Jeff was unsure of which way to go, and expressed his feelings with Gretchen, the other person caught in the middle with him.
Jeff (to Gretchen): If we go with Tom, there's three guaranteed people pissed at us. If we go with the "tribe" we have a chance of evening the score with the other side without outwardly being split. This is so screwed up.
And finally, after days of awkward conversation, the two former allies came clean about their betrayals.
Silas (to Tom): So people are telling me Kim, I don't really want to vote for her. Tom (to Silas): Bullshit. I'm not an idiot. I haven't been for the past three days.
They brought their fight out in public at Tribal Council as well.
Tom: By the way, Ramona and Silas, did you think for a second I didn't know you two were fucking me over from the start as soon as Thursday night was over? Silas: You've thrown EVERYONE under the bus Tom! You can't try and blame other people for your actions, you're the reason we've had way too much unnecessary drama on this tribe. Ramona: Sorry, Tom. I'm a terrible liar but at least there's one person who's worse than me!
The Otoxha tribe began to vote.
Silas (for Tom): Time for you to go, you're causing way too many problems on this tribe. This is what you get for overplaying and making retarded moves. Had to be done.
Jeff Probst tallied the votes and revealed the results to the tribe.

TOM
Jeff Probst: Tom, you have five minutes to leave your final words. Ramona: Bye, Tom. Thanks for the vote - means a lot coming from you! Tom: My full final words may now be found in the Jungle. Thank you Jeff.
Tom had done the unthinkable. Instead of saying something to Otoxha as he left Tribal Council, he decided to post a very long speech in a public forum which even the Bomba tribe could see.
In it, he revealed the Otoxha's tribe dynamics. He told everyone that Ramona was leading an alliance of three, Silas was a double-crossing snake, and Kelly was their loyal follower. He told every single player in the game to vote out those three immediately, or else they would run the game.
Back at Tribal Council, Tom's torch was snuffed and he left the game. This left seven Otoxha members who were still reeling from their dysfunction. They also had to deal with Tom's public words about their dynamics, things that would surely help Bomba in the future.

I like reading the fanfics more than lurking because I really had no idea what was going on as a lurker.
Awesome episode! Bomba/Otaxha remind me a lot of Timbira/Jalapao in the early stages of the game. Also, most brilliant thing I've ever heard anyone say: Ramona (to Gretchen): Big Tom seems like a center of information to me. I love him, but I think just about everybody does. He talks a lot about mundane things to me, and I notice that the messages are quite long too - makes me like him, but I also realize that he's giving me nothing. Ramona *gets* the game and has an awesome read on people. But I think I <3d Tom at the time because he was the only one who sent the lurkers messages |

^ Agreeance! Ramona *totally* gets the game and look how she and Kelly hatched their plan and how it came to fruition! What brilliance! Of course there was
help of their target being a complete dumbass, but they can't be blamed for that. Love those two!

As a lurker, I really wanted to see a 4-4 tie at TC. Also, I didn't know Kim wanted Ramona out. Thought Tom only had a chance to get Jeff, Gretchen, and

What you see in that episode actually happened, and at the time shown - Kim asked Jeff and probably even Gretchen to vote out Ramona, right up until the voting deadline. That episode should be nominated for an Oscar! =O

Jeff Probst's Blog - Episode 3 So there you have it: the epicness of episode 3. It was wild, crazy, insane, chaotic, and everything in between. There's really not much to say about the Bomba tribe. The only significant event was some of the players trying to make sure Teresa was blindsided in case they had to vote again. Since the swap is coming up next episode, and Bomba never had to vote again, this scene never really played itself out. Or will it? Stay tuned. And then we have Otoxha. There was an epic scramble before the second immunity challenge, and this is where everything stemmed from. Tom tried to boot Ramona, Silas tried to boot Kelly, Ramona tried to boot Kim, and they all clashed from there. Not only did Ramona and Kelly put the pieces together, but Silas flipped on Tom, and then Tom flipped on Silas all within a few hours of each other. It was absolutely hilarious and entertaining. Because these are episodes of a fanfic, and I wanted to keep a moderate length, I had to cut a lot of stuff out. One of these things was the crazy amount of PMs Tom sent to Jeff and Gretchen. They were some of the longest PMs I've ever seen in any ORG because he quoted so many different things, including full entries of his confessional which were also really long. When Gretchen said Tom gave her novels to read, she wasn't kidding. Then we got to Sunday, the day of the third challenge and Tom's eventual boot. He was online pretty much all day talking to his tribe, trying to secure the numbers to get rid of Ramona. I have never seen someone work so hard pre-merge to make a move. This is after he flipped once again to go against Ramona and Kelly. It all culminated in the craziest final words ever, shown to every player in the game. Will those affect the fate of everyone involved? Time will tell. They are definitely talked about in the next episode, and certain members of both tribes have reactions to it. You'll see what I mean very soon. Now we head into the swap. Can you imagine if Tom made it past this round and on to a new tribe? The game would have been even more amazing. Alas, no more Tom, no more insanity. But the game does get complicated once again, even in this next episode, so enjoy it! - Jeff |

EPISODE 4
Previously on Survivor…..
After her friend Michael was voted out, Teresa felt bad about betraying him, though Greg did his best to comfort her. Elisabeth and Tina made sure Teresa thought she was safe in the tribe by misleading her, while Susan formed a new alliance and kept her other allies in check.
At Otoxha, chaos erupted as pieces of the puzzle began to fall into place for Ramona and Kelly. They formed a tight alliance, and Silas soon joined them as well since he recently lost trust in Tom.
For his part, Tom also decided to ditch his original alliance and go with Jeff, Gretchen, and Ramona. When he realized that Silas had turned against him, Tom changed his mind and led a crusade against the trio he perceived to be running the game: Ramona, Silas, and Kelly.
Bomba won immunity, sending Otoxha to their first Tribal Council at the pinnacle of their chaos. Tom tried to target Ramona in a last ditch effort, but it didn't work and he became the third person voted out of Belize. Before he left the game, however, he posted a speech for everyone in the game to read, detailing his former tribe's dynamics.
13 are left. Who will be voted out tonight?
---
Tom had just been voted out, but unlike the previous two votes, it wasn't a quiet night at all in Belize.
Kim (confessional): We had our first Tribal Council and it was horrible. It was awful. I hated the scramble leading up to it and to make things worse Big Tom got voted off and I was in an alliance with Big Tom, so I definitely was trying to turn things around.
Both tribes had seen Tom's words in the public forum. Bomba carefully reviewed them, gaining valuable insight into the other tribe, while some Otoxha members defended themselves.
RAMONA: Whatever, Tom, whatever. I knew you were going to do something like this. SILAS: That was a hilarious read. Delusional to the end, and classless on top of that. Most satisfying vote I've ever cast. You had a deal with everyone and we caught you in your lies. What a bitch. Maybe next time you won't make an alliance with every single person on the tribe and then cry victim when people compare notes. GREG: Tom, you didn't say anything about me? Not even about how ghetto fabulous I am. SUSAN: BEWARE OXNATIOS WE HAVE ALL THE GOODS ON YOU BITCHES NOW!
Gretchen (to Kim): This tribe is in shambles. Gah. WTF was all that stuff Tom was putting out there for the other tribe? I need a drink.
Ramona (to Kelly): Tom is so psychotic. How the hell are we the ringleaders? What the heck? Why is he posting that for the other tribe? HE was the snake, and it's good we took him out. Kelly (to Ramona): No doubt...ridiculous...Us and Silas?? Is he nuts?? I barely know Silas from a hole in the ground.
Ramona (to Gretchen): I don't like Tom's words. Well I wouldn't have minded them had they been at the Tribal, but Bomba is going to buy it all, I'm telling you. If there's a swap, I'm target number 1 because Tom set me up!
Jeff (confessional): Tommy is an idiot. There have been very few people I have seen go out like a supernova with the amount of overplaying they have done and Tommy is one of them. I don't think I could have saved him and I don't think anyone else could. He sunk himself completely on his own and he can't blame anyone for it.
---
BOMBA
The Bomba tribe, unlike Otoxha, was enjoying a relatively drama-free night at their camp. Instead of people tearing each other apart, Greg was busy making a new relationship with Teresa.
Greg (to Teresa): I heard in there that you voted for me. And I think you knew I thought that and that's what strained our relationship, so we both sought out comfort from other people that weren't the real issue. Instead of confronting and solving the problem, we pussied out and talked to everyone but the person that really mattered. So that's where I am now. I want to get to the bottom of this so that we don't have to be awkward and so that we CAN work together, because we obviously have some kind of real connection. Teresa (to Greg): I'm glad that we are talking about this too. I have really wanted to get rid of all the craziness of the first round and I think
talking about this really gets rid of most of it.
Greg (confessional): Hopefully I can get through to Teresa. It may be too late for her though. I am so exhausted that my brain actually hurts a little bit. Sooo sleepy. I don't trust myself with PMs.
Teresa (confessional): Greg and I are getting along really well in PM's so I guess if things progress like I think they should, I may possibly ask him about working together in the future. I will stay loyal to Tina and Rodger as long as I can, but I just need to have backup plans in case they could be leading me on.
---
The next night, the tribes gathered for their next challenge. Or, at least they thought it was their next challenge. Instead they got something they didn't expect.
JEFF PROBST: As you all know, the game of Survivor is constantly changing. And it's about to change again. Drop your buffs. KELLY: Oh Jeff... JEFF: Here we go... RICHARD: HOLY CHIT MAN!
Jeff Probst explained that it was a swap, and each player would be randomly placed on to either Otoxha or Bomba. The tribe numbers would stay the same, meaning Otoxha would have seven members while Bomba would have six.
GREG: I'm confused. Could you repeat all of that? JEFF PROBST: Everyone else is going to new tribes. You're now a tribe of one, called the Buis tribe. Good luck. GREG: Got it and <3. I'm gonza be like Stephenie! WOMEN'S ALLIANCE!
The tribes were swapped, with four Otoxha going over to Bomba, and four Bomba joining Otoxha.
New Otoxha: Teresa, Kelly, Ramona, Rodger, Greg, Jeff, Susan
SILAS: Hey Bomba! KELLY: Wow...what a game... KIM: Hello new Bomba members and good luck to the old Otoxha!! SUSAN: Wow, I am finally on Oxycotton and there is no one here to have a redneck fight with.
---
BOMBA
The new Bomba tribe was made up of four old Otoxha members and two former Bomba members: Elisabeth and Tina.
Elisabeth (confessional): I was just starting to get comfy on Bomba and of course the swap throws everything out of whack *facepalm* Now half the people I feel I have pretty solid bonds with are over on the other tribe. I kinda feel like I'm back to square one now, deja vu of the first night. On the outs and needing to find a way in. Can my social game save me again?
While Elisabeth and Tina were worried about their new positions, the other four had something to celebrate about, and quickly pulled together to make sure they were all on the same page.
Silas (to Kim): We stuck together, I was SOOO happy! We gotta try and keep our original tribe together so we have the numbers. Stayed with my best girl, I am SOOO happy. Kim (to Silas): We really are working with one brain!! This is awesome! I'm so happy right now that you're with me. And we have a majority, which is amazing!! SILAS: We gotta make sure the 4 of us stick together too. I feel bad for Mona, Kelly, and Jeff, because they are in the minority over there... We got lucky that didn't happen to us!
Silas (confessional): Kim is the most interesting person to me... I don't know for sure if I can trust her, but I want to SO bad! She is such a sweetheart, she totally knows how to win me over. She's cute, energetic, and comes off very naive, sweet, and innocent with me... so if she's totally ready to cut my throat she is playing a good game. For now I am trying to see if it's possible to keep her around for as long as I can, because I think she'll have my back.
---
OTOXHA
Over at Otoxha, similar feelings were shared as some people were now in the minority, while the folks who came over from Bomba were ecstatic to have the numbers on their side.
Rodger (to Teresa): The Lord put us on the same tribe my dear! And we have a majority! I'm so thrilled my dear. How about you? Teresa (to Rodger): I am beyond thrilled... YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW!! OMG!! This way we don't even have to worry about pulling someone over to our side and getting them to vote with us. We've got a plain majority and have a few easy boots. Just FYI let's be cautious with Ramona and Kelly for the first couple of days because of what Tom said. It may be total lies but since it was put out there we just need to be careful.
Rodger (confessional): By Lord, we have swapped! I reckoned we would be swapping after this round, you know? Got me good! And THANK THE LORD ABOVE ME for putting me with four original Bomba's! I don't even know if they all want to stay tight but PRAISE THE LORD ABOVE!!
Rodger (to Susan): Hey there little missy! We are back together. The Lord has answered our prayers! We need to keep us four tight ya hear!
Susan (to Greg): ME, YOU, RODGER AND TERESA CAN PAGONG THESE CUNTFACES. Can we? Do you think we can? Please? Yes. We. Can. Greg (to Susan): I'm worried about Teresa. I think I need to pretend like I'm going to switch over. Are you down for me to go to the dark side for info?
Susan (confessional): We have Ramona, Jeff and Kelly. WE OUT NUMBER THEM! <3 The satisfaction and security of being on the RIGHT end of a swap is fan-fucking-tabulous, STRAIGHT UP! I LOVE IT!
Meanwhile, Ramona, Kelly, and Jeff weren't feeling great about their new positions in the game.
Kelly (to Ramona): Oh...my...God...Ramona!! We are fucked!! lol...what a nightmare!!
Ramona (to Jeff): We got the crap end of the stick on both tribes. Let's hope an outsider Bomba joins us.
Ramona (confessional): We had the fucking odds and here I am stuck on the tribe with 3 old Otoxhas and 4 old Bombas. Figures. But I'm like a cockroach when I'm on top of things, and I can't be killed that easily.
All hope may not have been lost for these three, though. Greg found himself in a very interesting position, and he planned to have some fun with it.
Greg (confessional): We're at the part in the game where I do crazy strategic things early. And that switch in my brain goes on and I pretend like everyone is out to murder me, surrounding me with knives, and my chance of survival is to talk my way out. And it's why I love these things.
Greg (to Kelly): I am desperate. Will you help me? Kelly (to Greg): Desperate? Are you kidding me? lol...I think it worked out alright for you... GREG: I was so lonely, Kelly. Please make this game more fun. KELLY: If you're serious then obviously I'm all ears...my thinking is that everyone's gonna be caught up on the numbers thing and suck the fun out of it anyways.
Greg (to Ramona): Do not worry, I am SO HAPPY WE SWITCHED. SO UNBELIEVABLY HAPPY. Sorry for all the capital letters and the racism. I kind of hope Tom was right, because the way he said you are is the type of player I want to be with so hard.
Ramona (confessional): Is Greg my knight in shining armor? Please let it be, let it be, let it be! Whisper words of wisdom, let it be!!!
Greg (to Jeff): Will you save my from my crazy tribe? Jeff (to Greg): I will. What the hell happened over there? Of course our tribe is an open book to you guys so I'm not sure what else you might want to know about it. GREG: I've been a pretty obvious target for both of the last tribal councils. I'm almost positive I would have gone home if I hadn't done so well on that last challenge. I still heard nothing but superficial things about the vote since then. But all of a sudden now that we've switched I'm getting private messages from people again. I think they think I'm going to switch sides or something. JEFF: Dude, I was so worried I was going to get picked off or something. If you want to do this then we can make a deal right now.
Greg (confessional): I AM SO READY TO VOTE OUT SUSAN AND SWITCH ALLEGIANCES. Elisabeth and Tina are already dead and they're the only ones I liked, really. I already like Jeff and he's said two words to me. And I HOPE Ramona is a crazy mastermind. I want someone amazing to go up against. I AM SO PUMPED UP ABOUT THIS GAME.
Ramona (to Jeff): Omg, is Greg gonna work with us? Jeff (to Ramona): He wants us to save him! RAMONA: This could be AMAZING. JEFF: I thought we were done... If this works out, perfect!
Kelly (to Jeff): Greg just told me he's desperate...asked if I can help him...like I buy it...but we'll see...I promise you Jeff I won't write yours or Ramona's names down...if there's a way we can do this together than we will as far as I'm concerned.
Kelly (confessional): So it's a crazy game as we all know and it turns out Greg has felt outcast from his Bomba tribe for a while and came to Jeff, Ramona and I all for help...if what he says is true...and I'm not yet confidant that it is...then the three of us along with Greg may be some sort of alliance. Let me promise you, I will be anything but surprised if Greg's pleas were a ploy to get information and it's used against us.
At the same time, Greg was trying to cover his bases by talking things over with Teresa, who he had been working on trying to build a bond with shortly before the swap.
Greg (to Teresa):I think this tribe switch has just given the two of us a new lease on life. I know that you know I was pretty much at the bottom. So I'm thinking about moving over to the other side. And I want to know you if want to join me, or if you think it's better to stick with what we had. I'm being EXTREMELY vulnerable to you now. Please don't share this with anyone. I want your opinion before I do anything.
Teresa (to Greg):I do think that the both of us have a lot of options in this game now. I guess we have two options: Stick with Rodger and Susan and make it basically to the merge or go with two of the old Otaxha's and flip this tribe upside down. If we do that though we have to be really careful about who we choose to side with. I'm of the impression of just sticking it out with Rodger and Susan and making to the merge, but just tell me what you want to do and I will go with you. It doesn't matter which decision you make.
GREG: You know that whatever I have in mind, I have it in mind with you. And I wouldn't do ANYTHING if you weren't up to it with me.
---
The reformed tribes gathered for their next challenge, which was being run by co-hosts Kate and Brendan.
Kate: Come on in, everyone. Ramona: I wanna play! Greg: I want to play too. Brendan: I feel like such a big man.
The tribes were given a list of five tasks, and each person had to complete only one of them. The trick was that no one had any idea which task the other people in their tribe was working on.
It came down to Gretchen for Bomba and Susan for Otoxha in the end. Gretchen completed her task first.
Brendan: Bomba wins immunity!!!!! Kelly: Wow...what a race...dayum. Kim: Thank God!! Awesome job, Gretchen!! Silas: Way to go Bombastards!! Susan: Shit, guys, I got the hardest one. I finally was getting it too. Good job, Bomba.
---
OTOXHA
Tribal Council for the new Otoxha tribe began, as did the scheming behind the scenes.
Ramona (to Greg): Wow, do you think Susan threw that? She doesn't know how much danger she's in! Greg (to Ramona): She definitely did. But keep it down. It needs to be a complete blindside.
Ramona (to Kelly): That bitch threw the challenge. Kelly (to Ramona): That's what I'm wondering...bad news you think??? RAMONA: Hope not! I'm really worried now because that means her team has been telling her that you, Jeff, or I are the targets. Let's hope they are lying to her.
Jeff (to Susan): Hey Sue. So the vote is going for Ramona? I'm going to be okay right? Susan (to Jeff): Yes! <3
Susan (to Greg): JEFF IS VOTING RAMONA WITH US <3 Greg (to Susan): Oh shit someone be jumpin ship!
Ramona (to Jeff): Greg says he's still with the plan, but it needs to be a complete blindside. I hope he isn't playing us. Jeff (to Ramona): I hope so. Sue is lying like a dog right now. She said it's going for you. Ramona (to Jeff): Please let Greg be lying to them...
Ramona decided to take matters into her own hands and sent both Rodger and Susan the same message.
Ramona (to Rodger, Susan): You have a lot of nerve, ignoring me tonight! I gave you two so many chances to get to know me, but I guess I'm not just worth your time, hm?
Greg (to Kelly): Vote yet? Susan is going to be so terribly angry. Make sure she doesn't know about it until the votes are read, please? Kelly (to Greg): Oh I've voted and not saying a friggin word...believe me...
Greg (confessional): Uh oh. Kelly's already sounding a little superficial. Might have to vote Ramona off first to scare them. Might vote Ramona off first anyway.
The Otoxha tribe began to vote, and Greg and Teresa were definitely in the middle. Kate had the votes and revealed them to the tribe.
SUSAN
SUSAN

God be with you! And Greg, DIAF! Rodger: Susie!! You will be missed Susie! Greg: Hail Satan. Rodger: BLASPHEMY!! Ya'll got me good tonight, but YOU WILL NEVER DEFEAT THE LORD!!
The Otoxha tribe left Tribal Council with the six remaining members. The game had been changed once again, as Greg and Teresa decided to flip allegiances and side with the three former Otoxhas. The game was becoming more unpredictable, round by round.

WTF no mention of how Susan WANTED to throw that IC to save Lissybeth and Tina? I sacrificed myself for those girls knowingly. Or how I knew I was going to be
booted because of it?
Greg and Teresa were not smooth enough, nor were they in contact with me enough to have pulled off a true blindside on me. |
