Pink Flamingos is hilarious, as is Female Trouble.
I guess that as of late it'd have to be Irreversible as well. That movie stuck with me a while and I doubt I'd watch it again. |

Requiem For A Dream... hands down. Is it weird that it's one of my favourite movies, and also the most disturbing I've ever seen?
Honourable mentions: Elephant: a friend recommended it to me and I was angry with her afterwards. Cannibal Holocaust: although I was kind of disappointed as I was expecting much worse of the most banned film of all time. Last House on the Left: anything with graphic rape is weird to me. Mysterious Skin: especially when the rape includes pummeling a teenage boy in the head with a shampoo bottle Alpha Dog: I know I'll get flamed for this one, but the death scene in that movie is fucked up. Hostel: that Asian chicks eye puss was disgusting. Thirteen: that was some eye-opening shit. |
