When my quality of life has diminished to the point that its more trouble getting through the day for the amount of joy I ever have I will be done. They said
Id never see 25 ... Ima tank and the big joke will probably be me living to be 106 :\ But I hope not. early to mid 80s I will be more than ready and I would be
very grateful to see my 70s even

ESugar wrote:I was ready to leave off my quote and twist your reply into something sex related. But this is a serious topic... I kinda like those willies. At least, these days I have something that helps me get rid of them... my kids. I think about them at least still clicking along after my thought is thought, my last neuron fires, and my brain has shut down for good. But then I think about their deaths, and their non-existence, and feel a sadness, but no willies. And then I think about everyone who's ever lived and ever will live entering non-existence, humanity gone, the Earth being a dead rock, the rest of the universe clicking along as if people never existed, much less me and my family. And then I think about the universe ending in a crunch or entropy soup, so that nothing humanity did is recorded, as if it didn't matter, as if it didn't happen. And I wonder how many other universes have come and gone similarly, that no one recalls or misses. We get this tiny little sliver of existence, to experience and to do what we can, before we are summarily snuffed out like an ant under one's shoe. "That's life", I think. At least it beats immortality. Shit, what a chore that would be. |

I want to live until my quality of life gets to the point where I am no longer able to live an independent lifestyle. Once you get to that point your life isnt
really worth living anymore. Hopefully I can do that until 85 or 90.

I'm ready to go at any time. Anyone who would care (and perhaps some who wouldn't) knows how I feel about them.
I just wouldn't want it to be too painful. |
