If legitimate polls showed the other guy with a lead or close battle, then this vote is absolutely rigged. These polls are usually very accurate. 63% to 33% is bullshit.

The median age of the Iranian populace is 27 years, which means there are a shitload of kidiots ready and willing to throw themselves at the theocracy. Numbers really matter in countries where voting actually means something, but in Iran, the "elected" president doesn't hold supreme power. The mullahs do. And the mullahs decide when it's time to start killing folk. They have their own army ( the Revolutionary Guard; separate from and better trained/equipped than the military force controlled by the president), and they like to use it. If it goes bad, Tiananmen Square will look like an exercise in restraint.
