Thailand really wasn't that bad. People say it was predictable when it's only predictable in retrospect. The only boringly predictable boot was
Jake's. The F5 episode and finale were really good.

Well I think the Thailand finale was pretty good as well. Even my mom watched it, and she never watches Survivor <3

Great Thailand finale moments:
Clay at treemail before the final 4 challenge, Helen and Jan falling over and over again in the final 4 challenge. Helen's blindside. Helen's final words (probably my favorite ever). Best fallen comrades of all time leading up to... By far the best final IC of all time. Penny, Ted, and Helen's questions. Jake rambling was funny, too. Brian and Clay getting roasted. Epic 4-3 vote. Although there have been a lot of awesome finales, Borneo is the only other season that can make a case for a better one than Thailand. |

Honestly, the only time I ever watched Thailand was when it first aired which was like... YEARS ago, so I really don't remember much, or anything about it.
Sucks has probably watered down my perception of it.

Vanuatu's finale was my favorite. Other great finales were Thailand and Pearl Islands, and Tocantins up until the Final 2.

The China finale is my second least favorite episode of all time. Next to James/Alexis's boot. I guess some people are fans of listening to Denise bitch for an hour. |

China's finale was one of the worst, imo. but nowhere near as bad as Australia's, Cook Islands', or Gabon's.

One funny line and a couple of good jury questions does not make up for the rest of the finale. That episode alone killed China for me. If it was a final two
with no reward challenge, it might have been different.

Cook Islands had some decent moments and, IMO, quite a few likable people... but that's about it. Fatfuck Billy was just pathetic to watch. There was a semi-controversial moment with Jonathan (and Candice?) mutinying, but other than that there just was not much more excitement. Most of it was pretty predictable with the 4some of Becky/Sundra/Yul/Ozzy taking over the game. Ozzy is just a douche, Yul was hot but provided little entertainment... and Becky/Sundra were barely even there. It was kind of climactic with the Final 3 of Yul/Ozzy/Becky because Ozzy dominated physically and Yul dominated mentally and it was cool to see which won out. I also became a big fan of Adam Gentry, he was hot, snarky and fun and the TC where he got voted, his final words were great. But yeah... that's about it. Just an overall uneventful season with a boring as fuck Final 4. |

One reward challenge kills a season? I admit I'm a bit biased because the China F3 was my favorite F3 of all time, but there was still plenty of good
stuff in there, unlike plenty of other finales (All Stars and Micronesia kinda, to name a few more crappy ones).

The reward challenge didn't kill it, the fact that there was only one tribal council did when a ton more could have happened instead of listening to Denise
try to get pity for more than half of the episode.
The surprise of a final 2 in Micronesia made me like it 10 times more than I expected I would. All Stars was hard to watch, but at least it wasn't boring. |

I actually liked the China finale a lot (up until Amanda at the FTC D=), but I think my all-time favourite finales have to be Marquesas and Amazon. Gabon gets
an honourable mention for being random.
