I'm curious about Adam's ranking. I've always thought of him as very polarizing. Did he get lots of 1s to offset that mode of 10? It's hard to picture people giving him a meh ranking. |

Here's how Adam fared. His lower average is just due to an overall downshift in scores from those ranked higher than him. He had far fewer 10s and 9s and
more 5-1s.
Adam: 1s - 5% 2s - 4% 3s - 4% 4s - 1% 5s - 9% 6s - 4% 7s - 10% 8s - 14% 9s - 16% 10s - 32% I'll use Cook for comparison: 1s - 2% 2s - 2% 3s - 0% 4s - 0% 5s - 2% 6s - 2% 7s - 10% 8s - 13% 9s - 26% 10s - 42% |

This might seem like a weird question, but do any of you find yourself "softening" in terms of your hatred or feelings towards certain contestants
after their season is over?
I know that Porkchop is starting to grow on me lately because of his sweet, self-effacing twitter posts, support for Jordin in his posts, and mabye because Cookie is doing well and Archie didn't win and steal that from Cookie. And I give Sanjaya props for being a good sport for charity by doing that retarded but obviously very painful reality show. I don't see myself softening anytime in the near future about Gokey or Taylor, however. And oddly, I sorta used to root for Clay (though I voted for Locke back in the day) and thought he had a nice voice . . . . but I lost all respect for him after his season and have come to hate the pissy little bitch. But I do think at least my perceptions of the various Idols change somewhat after their season. |

Yes and no. On one hand, I still hate Kelly and Carrie but on the other Mandisa and Taylor have slowly won me over.
Strike that, I still hate Mandisa but her music is great enough to balance out her being a homophobic $+*#. |

my hate never lasts past the rolling credits on the season because I can avoid those I dislike very easily once they leave the show.

I still hate some contestants but only the ones that continue to be hate worthy off the show. Asshats like Daughtry for example.
Mostly I hate the presence of people on the show, after they're gone and all is right I soften up. Like with Archie, I don't actively hate him anymore. He's a sweet little guy, he just didn't deserve to make it on AI. Gokey on the other hand continues to be a piece of scum douchebag IRL so I doubt my hate will let up anytime soon. |
