Why he's #3 - True story...Beast offered Quickie sexual favors to rank this high. I keed. But seriously more of you should have done that. >_> I'm sure maybe quite a number of people are surprised and don't agree with this ranking. But Beast was certainly a presence in this game. The last Juju standing on my ranking, and lord knows I loved that trainwreck <333 He always had some strange ploy up his sleeve, very apt observations and had a bunch of wild crazy plans that never went anywhere. ^_^ Everyone hated the HTLUs, but Beast was the only one who got his own solo hate thread in the Love Tribe forum, which read something like this:

Uniting people in their hatred of you <333 Someday I hope to be that controversial. ^_^ Despite coming into the game a bit late, Beast totally pwned a couple challenges and proved his worth to the Jujus, who otherwise may have phailed quite epically in that department. Must have been frustrating to lose so much on HTLU but who did you expect a 8 vs 3 challenge to end? Even though he didn't always get his way, he easily made the merge and if the F10 twist had worked out differently, may have made it quite a ways further. Unfortunately he came out a vote short at the F9 and it was an endless downward spiral for the underdogs. But he was the first jury member, and had the balls to ask me to rename it Beast's Secret Hideaway Lab Under the Ocean...so I did. Longest.forum.name.ever. For adding an extra off the wall flavor to the game, Beast gets the bronze medal on my prestigious ranking. =p

Why he's not higher - Er...he's pretty damn high. And the top two are the top two for their own reasons. =o Still though Beast managed to entertain me and seemed to put in an added effort for the sole purpose of doing so. I like that. Plus there's plenty of gold in his confesh:

I am not hoping for you to make it there, you were one of the most unnecessarily cocky people I have met in awhile. Cyclops-You are about a quarter as good as you think you are. Tonight's questions were true for a reason, nothing about you screams wow or I am glad you are here, or anything positive for that matter. I am hoping you can be a little bit more pathetic so you can be another person I can cross off on my list of "Never going to Vote fors..."

Nightcrawler-I swear your PMs out of everyone were the easiest to see through, I hope you can fix that by the time you have to eat your alliance after you vote out everyone of your possible escape routes out. Whenever you do get to the end of this game with your slimy alliance you somehow will be the most "liked" by the jury and I won't be the only one able to see that. Congrats on 4th.

Gambit- Our rivalry was cool and all, but congrats on never beating me, I am going home because Cable ensured that you guys would always have the majority, not anything you did. If you win this entire game I would consider the score to be 1-0 in favor of you. Your name only came up because Rogue did not want to vote off Nightcrawler, we all know how that worked out. I hope you make it far but I am glad I am one of the previous votes that will ultimately take you out of this game...don't go around making enemies unnecessarily.

Polaris needs to stick by her computer because if there isn't much revolution in this game I may not feel like voting for a winner.

Cable and I have been the only people who aren't cardboard cutouts or just supporting characters, make these last 6 boots your greatest performances and get some limelight.

What I remember the most about Beast - Instead of putting his straturgy in his confesh, he'd PM me his thoughts in real time. =O Made me feel like a part of the scheming and ploting <333 Oh and sometimes I felt like he wanted to talk about V-ASS more than the actual game he was playing in.

Why she's #2 - Psylocke is hawt. Even I thought so. And we all know hawtness counts for a lot, lolol. Ok fine, Psylocke was definitely someone who I was rooting for coming into this game, cuz Maj is always awesome and she certainly delivered in this game. Got herself on the best tribe(s), and was beloved by all the whole way through. She was the good cop in the Psylocke/Polaris duo that was cut tragically short...because they trusted Cable who obviously prefered taking the ride with horseMEN. <3 Psy wanted to make a move early on in the merge and turn the tables on the dominant TLT alliance. Unfortunately the F10 twist didn't seem to work in the underdog's favor. Psylocke would then proceed to keep trying, every round to topple the big boys, and always came up a little short. She'd vote in the minority every round and watch ally after ally leave:( Lawl, I've been there. It's kinda hilarious in a twisted way. Psylocke was, if nothing else a huge social threat and quite possibly was one of the only people who would have stood a remote chance against beating Cable in the finals. Oh and she actually won an immunity or two too <3 Someone not named Cable winning immunity was a big deal. Overall, for being such a compeling underdog that seemed to have everything go wrong with her, Psylocke impressed me with her never give up attitude that netted her a 5th place finish despite perpetual powerlessness.

Why she's not higher - Because the person in 1st place is in existence. Honestly there was no legit way he couldn't have been ranked first. So really, Psylocke was the best of the rest. ^_^ She was quite active, had a well kept confessional, and also PM'd me often "just to talk." <333 People seeking to rank high in the next game I co-host should do that more often. =O

What I remember most about Psylocke: She was the underdog who could. Very similar to Rogue, except while Rogue's minority status was pretty much out of her control, Psylocke situation was a little more self-imposed. Which made it all the more funny. =P Oh and the only person who seemed to give Cable some serious competition...aside from the three people who managed to vote him out of course. >_>

Why he's #1 - Er I think what we should be asking is why he wouldn't be #1. This is quite possibly the most anti-climactic finish to a ranking ever, since we all knew how it was going to go down from day one. If only him winning the game was just as inevitable. =P So anyway, Cable dominated the game in every way imaginable. When PT actually tries (ie. doesn't come up with some OTT schtick that never gets him anywhere) he is damn good. In fact one of his first confessionals read:

And that's entirely what I intend to do. I won't be voted out of this game because I'm not going to let anyone vote me out of this game. I'll make friends and play nice and strategize appropriately. And it's because I'm the best player here, and I know it.

That almost made Quickie run off to have a quickie! =O Seriously though, Cable came into the game expecting to own some shit. And shit he did own! He was the main reason why his tribe never went to TC pre-merge. His challenge prowess put Tom Westman to shame. Post merge, he also won his share of individual challenges, so much so that people simply "assumed Cable will be immune." I hate challenge whores that are that good. But it didn't stop there. Cable had the social game to compliment his physical game. Not only was he #1 when the cast had to rank each other on likability, but he was at the center of the most dominant alliances in the game as well. On the Oogas he had Angel Dust. On the Love Tribe he had his Horsemen on top of that, a brilliant cross-tribal alliance that remained secret for almost the entire game. Cable wasn't going nowhere. He was front and center from day one and everybody knew he was the one to watch out for. Oh and he won the Mutant Baby Power search so many times...just to make sure the cast was even more royally screwed with him around, he found the HII too! Yet...when he finally wasn't immune...he wasn't voted off. o.o Because he perfected the "I'm your giant shield, you need me to survive" strategy...much to the dismay and agitation of the opposing alliance. There is no question in my mind (or anyone else's) that Cable would have won sitting next to anyone in the final two. It was inevitable. That is why the rest of his alliance finally did him in at final four because they were jealous c.unts it was the right thing to do and really the last opportunity to do so. Cable's confessionals were of course the most thorough, most organized and devilishly cocky. Though that's probably just a PT thing. For completely grabbing the game by the balls and pwning in every facet there is to excel at, is there any way Cable wouldn't be landing the 1st place finish he was robbed of in that game? =p

Why he's not lower - LOL I am so gonna revamp these categories the next ranking I do. There is no reason why Cable would be lower. Nobody even comes close to touching him when it comes to hogging the spotlight. As I said to him after his boot, when people look back on X-Men, they'll remember, "This was Cable's game." Well here we are...a couple months later and that hasn't changed. I'm sure PT's ego doesn't really need to get inflated any bigger, but you gotta give the guy his due, one of the strongest performances I've ever seen in an ORG. Way to go. =)

And of course this wouldn't be complete without various people's thoughts on Cable!

Polaris:

Cable is my bff here. We get along really well and I think thats gonna be my main alliance thingy at this point. So I expect it to be rigged so that he's on my tribe. Work on that.

Wolverine:

I like Cable, but I don't appreciate the likely edit he's going to get. There probably is an idol, and he probably already found it. You're going to spend an inordinate amount of time on him there talking about it, and probably HII related convos back at camp as well. I hate that, but otherwise I like Cable. I just wish I could persuade people like he can.

Gambit:

I mean, seriously, nobody would have given me a chance if I had gotten to the end with Cable. The hosts probably would have been like "Can we just skip the final tribal council kthnx!"

Cyclops:

After that night, I realized how awesome Cable is not only in challenges but in strategy as well.

I'm more stunned when people voted him as the most trustworthy. Eek

What I remember the most about Cable - Besides the complete domination? Actually having the self assurance/arrogance to know he was completely pwning the game.

After finding the idol:

Yup, the idol and the fact that I'm in such a beautiful position with the pieces aligned so perfectly. I'm sure there will be hiccups, but I'm confident I can win. I probably jinxed myself by stating it, though.

Lawl yes, that's the main thing. Never outright say you're gonna win the game...it usually doesn't happen. And if you actually do happen to win the game, I'm sure the editors will come up with something. <3

And that concludes the X-Men ranking! Damn these updates take a long time. Or maybe I'm just slow. I am now open to new ranking suggestions, but don't expect to get anything for at least a week.
