In fact Gambit's greatest move seems to be ensuring the opposing alliance didn't vote for him at F8, when he was most volunerable with his past votes. If anything, he made us want to vote for him instead. He went from not talking much strategy with any of us, to suddenly jumping onboard the "let's boot Cable!" train. Plummy can back me up on this lol. We went in wanting to vote for Cable, and Jubilee left a prevote for Cable. During the voting period, Cyc and I started feeling uneasy about it and wanted to vote for Gambit instead.... but we couldn't do it because Jubilee logged off and we couldn't get her to change her prevote. Our fault for going in wanting to take out Cable, but Gambit nearly sunk himself =O

And we fucking blew it. Though honestly, if we had gained the upper hand, I still don't think I could've won. Cable was the challenge and jury threat and I'm pretty sure I would've been too big of a social threat for them to keep I would've placed around the same.

It's really hard to say since it's all spec of course. Losing Polaris put a huge dent in your game. >_< I think the key is being aligned with someone who's a bigger threat than you or at least knowing for sure you'll come out on top when your alliance has to eat itself =O You and Cyclops with Rogue as your third? :iiam
