17. James - from Poody's Stranded All-Stars (13th/21)

Let the record show that I sucked HARD in this game. No not just sucked. I'm actually embarrassed when people speak of that game and I simply pretend I wasn't a part of it. I mean everyone has to have a blotch or two on their ORG resumes right? Well Stranded ASS James is mine. It's my only character that got booted pre-merge (unless you count a certain other black male character in a game that never finished and is thus ineligible to be ranked on this list, so let's never speak of it again). I mean not having a jury spot isn't the end of the world right? Right?!? *cries*

I hate open-nic games. I'm just putting it out there right now. I only signed up for this one because Poody was struggling to get male reps from Peru and I naively thought I actually stood a shot in this. (And well...I only agreed to play the other one because the avatar was fucking gorgeous but we'll get to that...soon. >_>) I think it was a combination of many things that contributed to my sucky performance. Call it bad luck or whatever. The fact that I was playing Harry Potter at pretty much the exact same time didn't help matters.

I was in California at the time this game started, and I had to be out every day with family. I actually had to request to be home every night around 5-6 to make the damn challenges, something my aunt wasn't particularly fond of, since it meant we could never go out to eat. I suddenly feel very muchly for the West Coasters. The ORG world does not cater to your needs, huh. I didn't PM much in this game, oh and apparently my confessional sucked, though I went back to check with Poody a couple nights ago and I've seen much worse.

The game started with 3 tribes of 7, divided by season. My Peru tribe I think had 7/7 active people, since we were the most recent season that finished and obviously the best selection to choose from. =O I lolled at what a trainwreck the Bolivia tribe was. 2 inactives, one person who wasn't even part of the cast, and like two people who don't seem to play in any other games. They would eventually lead to my ruin <3

On my tribe, I was sitting pretty. Pretty much everyone wanted me on their side. I had Ryan and Christa on one side (aka madhack and kitty, my Sucks besties) and Courtney and Amanda on the other (aka my actual Peru ladies <3). Then we had Lill, who clearly dominated our season, should have won, and who no one trusted. She was an easy first boot. Though she came back in a lovely Outcast twist everyone hated. Then there was the wtf casting of Dave. He was the second boot because he was crazee. And he lived up to his legacy by being the 2nd boot again. ^_^

I would have been just fine if we stuck in those tribes for a good while longer. But nooooo we had to have an effing switch. Putting me on a tribe with Judd(PT), the two anonymous Bolivia people, Shane (who wanted vengance for Mario Party *giggle*), Amanda and Lill (who's rivalry spanned two seasons and fucked me over in both ), and only one real solid ally in Christa. I dunno...I still thought I'd be ok. I think I remember making an alliance with Amanda, Judd and Shane.

Except on coming back into the game, Lill was given HII. Which she promptly used to idol Amanda outta there. Getting booted by one vote has got to suck major ass lawl. There was a double boot, and this time Lill's luck ran out, despite winning me and Christa over, she was voted out 4-3. I should have realized Peru was getting gangbanged then. We proceeded to lose again because apparently our tribe sucked at challenges despite having people like PT and kitty.

And this is where it gets good. Or sad, depending on your pov. Kelly and Gregg, who had pretty much been at the center of everything, make a F3 pact with me, which I gladly accept. I had voted for Judd the previous round and he was articulate enough to blame me for everything, which scurred me muchos <3 Me and Christa were still gunning for Judd, though I knew it wouldn't happen. I thought Shane at least had my back since I had picked him to be on the effing tribe cuz of our Mario Party bond.

So voting goes on, and I ask them how it's gonna go. Kelly and Greg are pretty much "Trust us. Shut up and vote for Judd." So I do. I thought to myself, even if worse goes to worse, they'll vote off Christa right? She clearly was louder, more abrasive, a bigger threat in challenges, yadda yadda. But nope. (Those Poody animated vote things are the bestest things ever btw.) Up pops one James vote. Then another. And another. I believe it was 3-2-1, with Judd actually voting for Christa.

I think that was the first game I was ever so blindsided, I didn't even know what to say. I just said "Thanks guys, it's been fun. :wub:" I think they ended up regreting the decision though, since I gave Christa a HII clue upon getting voted out, she would go on to find it and make their lives a living hell post-merge. Not that they weren't already screwed merging down in numbers 5-6. But there you have it. Apparently I was UTR, boring, and all that good stuff I usually was early on in my ORG career, except without a nice high placement to go along with it. >_>

I sometimes wonder what I could have done differently. Like...maybe not pick Shane to be on my tribe. Or convince Lill to idol someone else. Or not have been so distracted in Harry Potter (which I also kinda phailed at, btw) that one challenge and actually helped my fucking tribe win it. But yeah, that is that. I'm glad Christa got to stay though, cuz she went on to do awesome things in that game. ^_^ But yes, I sucked as James and that whole period was defo the low point of my ORG life <3

Can I conduct a poll? I've come to realize there's no reconciling ranking my CHARACTERS or the GAME itself. They'd result in two very different rankings.

Would y'all like me to rank the games, or my characters? I'll do whatever the majority wants. ^_^

(And in case you were wondering, Stranded ASS James would have been dead lasted either way. )
