And according to my DVR it will start at 7:15PM PDT. Very odd time with the 15. But it looks pretty good... from TLC's page about the show: Buddy Valastro is one of the most successful and renowned cake artists in the United States. Master baker of Carlo's City Hall Bake Shop in Hoboken, New Jersey, Buddy is the cake boss. He supervises a team that includes his mother, four older sisters and three brothers-in-law. And when you're working with family on a daily basis, there is bound to be a lot of drama. The Valastros know drama but and at the end of the day they also know love. They are famous for these things called "Lobster Tails" that are pastries with canoli cream in them and are shaped like, obviously, lobster tails. I haven't been in since they started taping, but my boyfriend has and he says they have signs up warning you'll be taped and stuff. They have really pretty wedding cakes in the window that they rotate every month or so. The designs are really innovative. (Perhaps I'll use them for my hopefully upcoming wedding and get on the show???)

This does look really good from the commercials, I think it should do well, hopefully. It is a lil different for a TLC show too, so I guess we'll see.

I enjoy cake shows and I enjoy behind the scenes reality shows, but the trailers for this made me cringe and want to throw something at the TV. I hate him on the food challenges as well. Maybe if I watch with the sound off? I'll probably try one show, pretaped so I can fast forward. We'll see.

How do they get other people to work there when they act the way they do? I can't even believe they signed up for this shit knowing what kind of trainwrecks they are. What does this do for their shop? I mean seriously, at least with Duff & Co. They are good peeps, they are decent and have great personalities and the only drama on the show is cakes breaking and fondont(sp) mishaps, not yelling and rage... I do give props for TLC for not just editing in the fluff. I wonder what dude and his family think about this.

This guy is so full of himself, and acts as if he's the only one who does things like drape the fondant. I really don't think the bit with the bridezilla last night was scripted, I think she was just an amazingly bitchy brat who was being forced into having a wedding. Mary Alice would've cut her to the bone, had she pulled that shit at Charm City Cakes.
