The Apprentice 2 is the second season of The Apprentice, which began on September 9, 2004 on NBC. It featured 18 candidates, whereas season one only featured 16. Three new twists were introduced to The Apprentice this season. First, each team was unexpectedly forced to trade one member of their team for a member of the other team, resulting in a male on the female team, and a female on the male team. The traded members then became the project managers for the first task. In the second twist, it was revealed that the project manager of the winning team would not be eligible for firing the following week. Finally, the losing project manager could choose either two or three people to bring to the boardroom to be considered for firing.

Although it did not match the ratings of the first season and dropped out of the Top 10 Nielson, it still performed strongly overall, ranking #11 with an average of 16.14 million viewers.

The mostly male team named themselves Mosaic Corporation, and the mostly female team adopted the name Apex Corporation.

1. Bradford. Oh, Bradford. As a twist, a man PMed the women's team (Apex) and a woman PMed the man's team (Mosaic), and Bradford was the one who PMed for the women. Under his leadership, they won, and as a new twist the PM got an exemption. So the women lose under the amazing leadership of Ivana, and Bradford is safe since he can't be fired. Well, he was safe, until he offered to give up his exemption. Then Trump started targeting him, saying it was stupid of him to do, and eventually fired him for it, causing Ivana to freak out and muttering "ohmygodohmygodohmygod" over and over under her breath, since she was saved by Bradford's stupidity. Trump even recounted the story of Bradford the Arrogant in Celebrity Apprentice 2 when someone offered to return to the final boardroom. It's definitely a unique story, and pretty humorous in hindsight, though one could argue that he didn't deserve to be fired and that this was the start of a bunch of unfair firings.
2. Stacie J. Stacie J seemed a little loopy, but she certainly didn't seem insane. The rest of her team thought she was, though, and actively tried to get her out. It came at a head in week 3 when everyone started ganging up on Stacie J for being insane, when all she seemed to do was get excited over an 8-ball, making her no crazier than, say, Cesternino. To her credit, Jen M didn't join in on the "Crazy Stacie" train like the other women, but they were pretty ruthless and eventually Trump fired her, which was also kinda bullshit. At least she went on to a wonderful career of being a reality whore.
3. Pamela. Strong ruthless ice bitch. She was PM for the men's team the first week and proceeded to make fun of how ugly the children were, earning Carolyn's wrath. Still, she was one of the stronger competitors there and the guys went on a winning streak soon after. Eventually, the women were so devastated that Trump sent Pamela over to PM the shitty women's team. So she once again brought her iron first and bitchslapped a few people like Maria. Despite her leadership, the women still lost, though it was very close, and Pamela even argued it was a tie. Despite being chosen to be PM and despite losing in a very close task, Pamela was fired over, say, all of the other shitty people there like Stacy and Maria. Even my roommate thought this was a bullshit firing. Kinda sucks that Pamela was forced to PM and lost by such a narrow margin and still get fired when there were better candidates to get rid of, but eh. At least Pamela managed to console herself by buying new tits.
4. Stacy R. Better known as the Bitch Midget. She was quite insufferable to watch, as she was obnoxious as fuck and always exaggerated everything. During Pamela's firing, she argued, "If you want another Enron on your hands, here's Pamela." But let's go back to the previous task, when she butted heads with Jennifer C. Jenn mocks some Jewish bitches, and the Bitch Midget starts freaking out and goes on the offensive over her, which not only got Jennifer fired from The Apprentice but also her real job. She was such a negative wench that one wanted to step on, just like a cockroach, and everyone hated her. She finally got fired because nobody wanted to hear her whine and exaggerate about shit, and the Bitch Midget finally left the game. Fuck this cockroach. Fuck it dead.
   
5. Raj. Some Indian nutcase who wears bowties and dresses like a complete dork. Apparently he was in real estate, which is why he decided to knock down a wall in a house during a real-estate challenge to reduce the number of bedrooms. Raj managed to also force Elizabeth into turning a recruitment commercial into making America look like a police state or something. The guy was nuts, and he eventually got fired for sucking as PM, with Raj then asking Trump's assistant Robin out for coffee. He then ran for Congress and lost, because he's a fucking joke. At least he was fun to laugh at.
6. Maria. This woman was fucking nuts. Where to start? She claimed to be good in public speaking, but on camera she blinked way too damn much and had to get replaced by Jenn M. She wanted to incorporate sex into a police recruitment ad. She wore some giant-ass flower on her shirt during a boardroom. She dressed like a futuristic hooker during the dog-washing task. She tried to bully Wes into going with her weird-ass ideas when he was PM. I don't know how she managed to make it so far, but eventually her suckiness caught up to her and she was finally fired in the show's first double-firing along with Wes. What a nutcase.
7. Andy. A young guy who actually seemed to have a good head on his shoulders. He managed to do well on tasks and even prevented Maria and Kelly from adding sex to a police ad, netting himself a PM win. Overall, a pretty likeable and competent guy, though his story ends at the F6, where Jenn M and Sandy were arguing during the boardroom and Trump then decides to fire Andy for... not getting involved. Talk about bullshit. But Trump did actually hire Andy after the show was over, so it worked out, at least.
8. Ivana. People joke about contestants and other posters being jealous of certain contestants, but I don't think that ever rang as true as it did concerning Ivana's jealousy over Jennifer Massey. Ivana started off sucking, and she never really got any better. She soon became pissed at Jenn because she and Stacie J (who came back temporarily for the real estate task) ganged up on her, and she set out to destroy Jenn. This became hilarious during the Levis task, when Jenn was marginalized and Ivana managed to do the one competent thing she pulled off all-season and make some clothing wheel. During the presentation, Jenn M actually takes credit for the Ivana's wheel, and the Levis exec says she contributed the most to the task, which really pissed off Ivana and was fantastic to watch. Then came the F5, which I'm still surprised over Ivana actually making it that far, where teams have to sell candy bars. Jenn and Sandy decide to use sex to help sell bars, which offends Ivana greatly, at least until she realizes she needs to win and proceeds to strip off her skirt for cash. She eventually got fired for stripping, her shitty 0-2 PM record, obsessing over someone on the other team, probably a million other reasons, but mainly because she just plain sucked. Maybe if she didn't obsess over Jenn so god damn much she would've done... Nah, she still would have sucked ass.
9. Jenn M. The fembot herself. Jenn was a machine, competent and emotionless. She had no problem calling people out on their bullshit and telling them they suck. She was the sole person to defend Stacie J during the insanity witch trial, which is when she started standing out from the other incompetent women. She proceeded to make it far, earning many's ire and Ivana's pathetic hatred, and managed to reach the F2 with a 1-0 PM record. She then bombed during the final task, and then during the finale she got the ire of many, including Matthew Calamari, who froze in front of the camera and struggled with saying something like, "I, uhh... don't, like... Jenn..." Jenn sadly lost, but she really helped define this season for what it was.
10. Kelly. The guy did well and had an impressive 3-0 PM record, but god damn was he boring. He was smug at times and a bit of an ass, too. Easily my least favorite winner, and keep in mind this is the same series that has probably the most UTR winner in reality history in Stefanie. At least Stefanie's win was out of nowhere and added humor to a horrible season. Kelly just sucked to watch. What a shitty winner.

The fifth season of Big Brother, the American reality TV show, ran for thirty-one episodes from July 6 to September 21, 2004. This season's finale was the highest in Big Brother history, with 10.54 million viewers.

1. Half-siblings. One of the big twists of BB5 was that the two contestants with the weird nicknames, Cowboy and Nakomis, actually shared the same father. Cowboy, in perhaps his only display of cognitive ability the entire time he was in the house, quickly picked up on it while listening to Nakomis talk about her father, and eventually Big Brother revealed the truth, even giving the two a letter from their father. So they had a tearful reunion and... proceeded to go against each other. You see, while the two are half-siblings, they couldn't be more different, and they actually didn't even really like each other, not to mention they were in different alliances. So this twist, which was already pretty distasteful since it made Big Brother get all Maury on us by creating a very awkward situation, ended up not doing much in the actual game. Just another failed twist among many.
2. Holly. Another ditzy blonde that fell between BB3's Amy and BB6's Janelle, except Holly was dumber than both. She's say all kinds of stupid shit, which was hilarious to listen to, and she was always speaking in a high-pitched voice. She actually hooked up with Jase, which got her booted. Holly and Jase actually stayed together longer than most people expected from a shallow showmance, and she does occassionally pop up on TV now and then. Kind of a shame she left so early, since she could've brought so much more entertainment in the game had she stayed longer.
3. The Four Horsemen. Right when they entered the house, Jase, Scott, Drew, and Cowboy formed the Four Horsemen alliance, and they immediately went on their wave of destruction, with Jase and Scott standing out the most with their jackass behavior and their homosexual tendencies. Most of the house ended up turning against them even though they controlled the game the first several weeks, with Marvin thinking he was a fifth when he really wasn't. When Holly and Jase hooked up, the other Horsemen worried about Holly and thus banded together with everyone else to vote her out. It was at this point that the game changed and Diane won a long, intense endurance HoH and proceeded to take out Scott and his skidmark-stained underwear, with Jase and his bald-spot-hiding mandanas leaving the next week. As for Drew and Cowboy... They actually managed to integrate themselves in with everyone else thanks to Diane's horniness and Cowboy being a joke and they ended up the final 2. So I guess, in a way, the alliance kinda worked.
4. The Twin Twist. Probably one of BBUSA's most iconic twists, so much so that a special on international BB's highlighted it and it made its way into other versions such as the Australian one. The twist involves two twins, in this case Adria and Natalie, who played as one person, in this case under Adria. Every so often, they'd switch in the Diary Room, exchanging information and such, and then the other one would go into the house. They did this for a few weeks, and actually managed to pull this off without anyone noticing. So Chenbot revealed the twist to the cast, and people were suspicious of others, such as Diane and Drew, who had (hotter, smarter, and overall superior) twins outside the house. Cowboy was convinced it was Holly since he heard her say she had a twin, and thus he proceeded to spout out, "IT'S HAWLY, IT'S HAWLY" over and over like a six-year-old. Of course, it ended up being Adria and Natalie, and it becomes the final nail in Jase's coffin. Probably one of the few BB twists that actually worked out.
5. Six-Finger Plan. One of the most brilliant strategies executed in Big Brother history, and the first backdooring. You see, the rules were changed in BB5 such that only the HoH, the two nominees, and another person of each's choosing could play for the Veto. The house wanted Jase out, but the problem was he was a strong challenge performer and had already won a Veto the previous week to save himself. So Nakomis came up with the idea to have six people on her side participate for the Veto. So, as HoH, she nominated Diane and Marvin, thus preventing Jase from playing for the Veto. Drew won the Veto and saved Diane since they were making out and shit, and Nakomis then nominated the helpless Jase and finally took him out. Thus the Six-Finger Plan was executed flawlessly and remains one of the most-impressive bits of strategy to have been cooked up on this show.
   
6. Nadria. They didn't stand out as much at first. Yeah, Adria was nominated, but she was against Holly, who was a much bigger threat to everyone. Then the twin twist happens, they come out, and they participate in Nakomis' Six-Finger plan to get out Jase. After Jase left, however, they went from a couple of UTR followers to sanctimonious power-tripping twats, as they proceeded to backstab their alliance in favor of... I don't know. Wikipedia says Adria's plan was to fracture the big alliance into many small ones, which would've happened anyway had she not been so bold as to try to start it herself by trying to take out alliance-mate Will. Thus Will gave his epic "If karma is a boomerang, I'll see you sooner rather than later," which confused the twins who thought he was talking about "Karma Electra." Their stupidity did cost them in the end, as they were the next two boots after and became hated by probably everyone. So much for that!
7. Marvin. This guy had a solid sense of humor for a mortician, and he was always fun to watch. At first, he was treated as a joke, as a fake fifth of the Four Horsemen and not being a part of the other alliance, either. Marvin was essentially a floater the entire time, getting nominated a couple times but usually just trying to stay alive any way he could. He won a couple of HoH's and was a decent competitor, and he managed to make it all the way to the F6 before he left during a double-eviction week. A shame, as he was fun to watch and usually brought some entertainment among all the backstabbing drama that went on during the game.
8. Diane. At first, she was probably the forefront of the anti-Horseman alliance and most-opposed to them, as she constantly had fights with Scott and Jase. At the same time, she also found herself attracted to Drew and kept trying to seduce him. She managed to finally get HoH after lasting in an epic endurance challenge, and she and Nakomis took out the big guns of the Horsemen, while she brought Drew and his lackey Cowboy over to her side. Diane managed to pull off some more strategic backstabbing in the F5, when she betrayed her old allies by backdooring Karen. Then it came down to her, Drew, and Cowboy in the F3, and she thought she had it wrapped up, at least until she said she probably would win against him in the F2. Drew, as dull as he was, was smart enough to realize $500k was worth more than having sex with Diane, and booted her ass in F3 in a rather hilarious way, though as a consequence that meant we had Cowboy in the F2. At least Diane found success after BB5, such as hooking up with Mike Boogie, being the second boot in All-Stars, and demonstrating some of the worst interviewer skills ever in her pre-show interviews with BB contestants. Too bad she pretty much gave up her game just for some dude she wanted to fuck. Well, not so much bad as it is hilarious, but still. At least she didn't humiliate herself as bad as Erika did during All-Stars.
9. Cowboy. What a dumbass. He pretty much leeched onto Drew the entire game. He had no spine, no brain, and no self-respect. He was simply pathetic, and it was being pathetic that carried him to the end. Nobody respected him, not even his own half-sister, and he was pretty much treated as a joke the entire season. Despite that, he still got three votes and almost won, one from his half-sister who probably felt obligated to vote for him, and two from Nadria, who were idiots. After the show, he married his fiance, Grimace, and went off to an exciting career flipping burgers at Burger King. Sad, but oh well.
10. Drew. A Horseman, then Diane's bitch, then winner of Big Brother. Despite being a Horseman, he was a floater through and through, though Diane carried him most of the way through. He then took Cowboy over Diane to the F2 and won because, well, he wasn't Cowboy. Very dull winner, but oh well.
