I agree with some points people previously stated.
First off, Fans had one of the worst tribal edits ever. Natalie was invisible almost EVERY SINGLE EPISODE minus the bitch-overload one. But one episode where you shine as much as the rest of the cast doesn't make up for the total shaft she got. I'm really shocked that Natalie didn't come over there and burn the place where they edit the show. Alexis was a milder Natalie in terms of editing. She was shown, but not that much. I would say the other fans were shown as useless(Mary), dumb/hated(Jason, Erik, Mikey B, Joel), floaters(Natalie, Alexis) and quitters(Chet, Kathy). The only one remotely positive was Tracy, but she was pretty under the radar for her stay. While for the Fans, it became the Cirie/Amanda/Parvati show with the daily bumblings of James/Ozzy/Eliza and the other Favorites. The editing was way too imbalanced for my likings. The location was pretty. While the challenges almost dipped into Cook Island's redunancy, it was a better than average season for me. But I think it's way too over-rated because of the Women's Alliance, and that's coming from a fan. |

Yeah. I feel sorry for the "fans". They totally got the editing shaft.
There were some potentially interesting things happening over at Airai with the two separate shelters and all... |

I love Micro. Jonny Fairplay got shocked when "Favorites" tribe lost over "Fans". The original Malakal tribe known as "Favorites"
wanted to vote Fairplay first to miss his then pregnant girlfriend back at home.
Erik got smart during an immunity challenge where revealing past season references from Borneo to China. |

When the season was airing, people were labeling it as a huge failure here and were complaining about the blindsides, or lack of them, since Probst promised a bunch. |

Uh....so I guess I'm the only one who didn't think the pre-merge felt overly stretched out or anything at all? Like....Cook Islands and Fiji's
pre-merge felt a lot longer to me.

33. The Apprentice 2
Wikipedia Reality Blurred Archive This is when I first started watching The Apprentice, though after I got hooked I quickly got the season 1 DVD and watched that. So The Apprentice became a hit, a quality new reality show for NBC and one that seriously threatened to snag the Emmy from TAR. Of course a season two was expected, and... well, it didn't have the same spark of the first season, and actually started to appear a bit like a joke, though it didn't become obvious until season 3. But an 18-person cast, and tasks with sponsors that would make the show more money. At least the cast was awesome to watch.

I've never seen Welcome to the Boardroom before
Great write up. I agree, this was the "overdone" second season of a reality show that was top notch in the first season. That said, TA3 is still my favorite season, but everyone here was a great character, pretty much, and if they ever did a TA all stars, I could see them bringing back a bunch of people from this season (preferably Jenbot and Andy). I haven't seen TA6 or CA2, so from my experience, Andy's firing was the most bullshit ever, IMO. I thought he played that boardroom great. After his team lost, he went to Jen and got her fired up, ready to destroy Sandy, which is exactly what happened, and of course, Trump fired Andy because the girls hated each other I'm kinda surprised you didn't talk about the Wes vs. Maria and Jen vs. Sandy fights a bit more. As Wes/Maria and Sandy were getting fired, these respective fights were so <3333333. |

I actually like TA2 a lot more than the first season, just a shame that Jenn didn't win in the end

TA2 is my favorite season of that franchise, and actually the show that got me into reality TV. So I've definately got a lot of love for that season. The
first season definitely had more talented people, but TA2 was entertaining from beginning to end and with the occasional exception (Rob, who was thankfully the
first boot, Kelly, who unthankfully was there the entire season) had some very entertaining OTT people.
Bradford's firing by Trump probably remains the single most ridiculous decision Trump made in the show's history. Bradford did an excellent job both weeks he was there and was probably one of the 2 or 3 best people in the season, but Trump fired him right away for a completely incidental and meaningless gesture. Jenn C & Stacy J were certainly some OTT characters. I absolutely loathed Jenn C the few weeks she was there and was quite pleased when she was fired. Never really liked Stacy J, but gotta admit that her firing was total bullshit, just one of many bad ones. Midget Stacy was very hot IMHO (don't mind the fact that she's so short) although she bombed in spectacular fashion her last week there and even as a fan of her I admit that she definitely deserved to go when she did. Elizabeth's firing was another bullshit one IMHO because the whole reason their ad was so bad was the OTT military theme which she was against.Admit though that as PM she should have been more forceful in preventing that theme from being there. Raj was my favorite character of the entire season. Deserved to go when he did, but sure missed him after that. Blinky was probably the hottest woman of the season (in a season with a very attractive female cast), but man did she blow up in spectacular fashion. Feel sorry that she pulled Wes down along with her. Total OTTN psycho. Andy's firing was yet another in a long line of bullshit firing. Trump's reason that he was losing the debate to the girls when he was doing the mature thing and sitting back and letting them tear into each other was total bullshit. Ivana's inferiority complex with Jenn M <3 Seems fitting in a season with so many bullshit firings that Trump does it again with Kevin, who was fired for being too educated. A season after he fired Troy for not being educated enough. Kevin would have been much more competition for Kelly than Jenn M in the horrendous 3 hour finale. And finally, Jenn M (Kelly's too boring for me to say anything about him). Much like Stefanie many years later, Jenn coasted through the show not doing much, staying very under the radar by avoiding the PM role (her only PM was the dog one, the easiest task of the season that Stacy & Andy completely botched on the other side) and IMHO didn't deserve to get as far as she did. To her credit she was 10x more entertaining than Stefanie ever was. |

OMG TA2 was so incredibly epic <333
I remember being one of the few people lame enough to attempt Edgic for that season...it so does not work. |

Hm, were you one of the ones who tried to use Edgic to claim Christa won Pirate Master too, or am I thinking of someone else?

I like TA2, this was the best season of The Apprentice. The women of Apex were smart and beautiful. I wasn't surprised about Elizabeth's firing and
commented to The Trump about her work performance.

32. Big Brother 5
Wikipedia Reality Blurred Archive The fifth season of Big Brother, the American reality TV show, ran for thirty-one episodes from July 6 to September 21, 2004. This season's finale was the highest in Big Brother history, with 10.54 million viewers. So after a mix of good and bad seasons, we get Big Brother 5. It has a pretty broad and entertaining cast, an interesting twist, and also one of the worst twists in perhaps reality TV history. Overall, it's got a lot of great stuff, so let's jump in.

The six-finger plan and the way Diane/Drew/Cowboy maneuvered the F5 veto to make Nakomis essentially boot her closest ally were amazing. Yeah, the F2 sucked, but so did the F2 in season 6, and everyone still has a nostalgic boner for that. |
