I was happy with the pairings, but the duets tonight sucked. American Idol should not do duets if the arrangement only allows one contestant to sing at a
time. There was absolutely no harmony between the two contestants-- Adam would sing, then Allison, then Adam, then Allison and then, for four bars or so, both
contestants sing the same thing in unison.
The problem with no harmony is that the songs aren't complete. This is exactly why the group performances suck... way to ruin a good idea, AI. |

My wife and I like to say that we almost try to watch Idol with our eyes closed and listen to the voices. Is that voice something that could be on the radio?
Alison, absolutely. No doubt type rocker voice Adam, yes, the voice is great, but what could he sing that's current? Danny, no, no no Kris, yes, kinda medicore, but I could picture it. On that alone I hope Danny oes home this week and th 3 best singers make it. His ego finally got the best of him this week. He bit off way more than he could chew. |

I think a more logical order to the solo/duet tonight would have been:
Adam Kris/Danny Allison Kris Adam/Allison Danny 1) To give everyone more equal time between songs, 2) To end on that terrible last note, and 3) To not hear Danny fans complain he did not get the pimp spot, or justify it for next week if he is there to get it. |
