One of my doofus friends called another doofus friend at 3am last night, freaking out because he didn't have the right paperwork to file his state taxes.
He's going to be late on this, and not only is he losing his mind, he's upsetting the other goober.
What's going to happen to this dumbass? We live in Indiana, if that helps anything. |

It depends on whether he owes money or not. If he owes, he's probably screwed. He can file for an extension and at least won't get hit with
penalties, but he would have to do it today.

Just apply for an extension. There' so fucking way I'm going to be shelling out $400 today to pay those fuckers, especially after I just had to pay
$1200 to get my car repaired, so they're just going to have to wait.

What happens if you late with your taxes just one day? I've always thought they had to build in an unofficial day or two, because -- being part of the
federal government -- they must know how shitty their own post office works.
