You might have been drinking beer with pull tabs in the late 80's...but that was not the norm. NOT true. Pop tops were the norm on soda cans, but not beer. In fact, until the later 80's the only beer to use pop tops was Coors.

I've never been a beer person but I remember back when the pull tab cans came out & thought they were very ingenious. The cans were super sturdy then too.

I have no doubt that there was still pull tab beverages in the late 80's...im just saying it wasnt the norm. And that it makes sense Dharma had pop tops in 1977 :)
