That could explain why we apparently get the resurgence of the Exile Alliance this episode - less people at camp makes it easier for the Exilees to finally talk with each other. I don't think the three who go on the reward are from that alliance (or at least not all of them) since that wouldn't exactly be an "unlikely trio" to the viewers.

Tyson or Coach probably decide to take Erinn along to ensure her vote, and it leaves JT/Stephen worried about what Coach/Tyson are up too. Maybe Brendan notices and he finally gets worried about his place in the game.

A decent chance that it's the rapids trip which was shown during recrap week is the reward. TDT speculated they were Stephen (red shorts), perhaps Tyson and someone else along with guides.

In the whitewater rafting I have done it was the guide who sat in back steering the raft and directing the paddlers. I doubt any of the people in that raft are players.

Exact info from TDT (I don't think they stage two scenes, and these do look like Stephen's shorts). Of course we aren't sure if its this weeks.

Future reward 1: River rafting trip | Unknown position, Stephen & ? on reward?

The overhead shot shows five people in a raft, but it looks like a decoy shot, since the second set of pics shows people in different positions, and we see Stephen's red shorts in the raft (not obvious in the overhead shot). There appear to be at least two guides in the front of the shot (khaki shirts, black shorts). Behind them, middle of the second shot is someone in a light-colored shirt, best match appears to be JT (although the shorts don't seem to match his). There's also someone in a dark shirt on the right-hand side of the second picture, possibly Tyson (or another guide)?

A very unlikely group to win this RC(whatever it is) would indeed be Stephen+ Tyson plus somebody else...A woman probably. Is this where Erinn finally comes into her own and aligns with Stephen & co?

Stephen brought her up to Brendan on Exile, if you remember and rather incongruously, she was the only member of Timbira to be so talked about, that was left in the edit. He asked Brendan if she was isolated or alone, and Brendan replied that he thought she was.

Not that this group of people gets to choose who goes with whom. This seems to be a randomly selected three groups of three-type of challenge. And then, whichever TEAM wins, they all go. And since Challenge Monster the big-toed Tyson may be on this team, he wins it and drags Stephen and possibly Erinn along.

This win may seal Tyson's speculated doom this episode and give rise to the Stephen/Erinn F2 that so many have speculated. She does seem to be intensely disliked by the Timbers...

And yes, Tyson would never see this coming...

In the promo, we see Brendan talking to Sierra/Stephen/JT saying "us four and Taj...," so it's possible that Taj is on the reward since she is not present, and that would make her with two members of Timbira- out of Debbie, Erinn, Tyson and Coach.

Same here, Kona. And three people would be an unusual number to take white water rafting, those commercial rafts are usually 8-person rafts...some smaller ones are 6 (five people and a "steer/guide" at the rear.) I really think that is a dream team. Not even so sure the reward for three would be the rafting...why not let 5 or more go?

It could be just 3 people on the white water rafting.. they had a similar reward in Fiji, where Boo, Dreamz and Yau-Man got to go, accompanied by some guides.

Who or What is the 4th person all in black at the front of the raft? Neither of the grey shirt, black short guys look like tribe members.
