Fairplay told us a year in advance he'd be on Survivor 16: All-Stars 2, which turned out to be true (well Fans vs. Faves, but no one knew that until the
last second)

Someone is reporting about S19 and S20 filming back to back in the other thread. S20 is going to be filmed in August instead of October.
I think it's making sense now why they're having s19 and s20 casting call together. |

Perhaps that suggestion about two 'seasons' of Survivor having their F4s merge into a cross-season ultra-finale will come true, although, I think there
might be other reasons for this, and I doubt Samoa will be the location for both seasons.

either they r doing samoa back to back or they are doing a diffrent filming schedual so the crew can work 5 mons and have 5-7 months off..that makes sense too |

I'm still sticking with my original assumption that season 21 will be All-Stars season 2, if and only if Burnett/Probst want to end things. I'm
thinking that Season 19 and 20 will shoot back to back, but not both on Samoa--that would mean that season 20 would essentially be using the same beaches that
other contestants had used just a few days before. Season 20 will be a return to Borneo--or so I hope.

They can't go back to the original location of Borneo, it's a full on occupied resort.

Well, while Pulau Tiga is occupied with resorts, I'm hoping they'll go to other islands in my country Indonesia (That's where Borneo is. We shared
Borneo Island with Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam).

who's to say they couldn't just buy out the resort for 7 weeks. they're doing that with Aggie Grey's on samoa.

The only way it could be back-to-back with the same crew would be if it was at the same location. (You could use different camp and challenge sites, but the
production base camp, and all the gear, wouldn't move.) Do we know it's the same crew though? Could there be US Survivor, followed by <other
country> Survivor in Samoa, with the reverse in some other place?

Survivor already costs so little to make I don't see why they would compromise the franchise is all ways by doing it back to back to get it cheaper. Jiffy
Pop aint gunna wanna stay out of the US for 5 straight months. No one would.

according to the Aggie Grey's website---there is no availability for late August--i tried the dates of 8/25-8/31--just for one person, and there was no
availability. Makes me think they probably WILL be staying for season 20.

CBS would never do Summer Survivor. It's too precious to be thrown away like that. Maybe when Survivor's rating is awful, they'll dump a season on
the summer and be done with it.
Oh, and I think Jeff's new show isn't picked up by CBS based on the announcement last week. But we'll see. |

That link shows it was pitched to CBS but wasn't picked up. But who knows, it may be picked up by cable. |

On the application it said to send a passport photo of yourself, did you guys do that? I dont have a passport yet.

The application asks for a copy or proof of a U.S. passport, OR proof that you've applied for one. In addition to that, it asks for a passport-size photo.
Since you don't have a passport yet, you'll need to send in proof that you've applied (just copy the passport form I guess) and any photo of you that you cut down to 2" x 2". I'm sure they'd prefer a headshot. |

if they like you, they like you--they wont pass up a potential contestant because they didnt include an exact 2x2 photo or proof of passport. if you have one,
add it--if not, go apply for one bc you'll need in anyways and then just copy the receipt. if you forgot to include something, don't sweat it--as long
as the app and video are there you're good.
