There were no glaring atrocities. I guess it helps that they chose an kick ass song to do. A little disappointed because Adam wanted to do that song eventually, but I hope he still does. And kudos to the Kids Incorporated fists in the air ending. I also kind of had to laugh at Megan getting pwned. I do think Simon could've made his comments after she sang, but we all knew she wouldn't be saved and it was dumb of her to tell the people who might save her that she doesn't care what they think. They stayed to the tune. Didn't change the melody and the band didn't overplay. 9 times out of 10, the band overplaying is a big issue with the intros. They don't show the band anymore, but Teddy Campbell used to be the drummer (I don't think that's him) and if you listed, the drummer overplays WAAAAAYYY too much. It's the gospel church drummer curse - just as every gospel singer chick screams, every gospel drummer overplays. It overpowers the singers/etc. Listen to the MJBlige song Lil did - the drummer was playing about 8,000 notes a second - way too much. Also, Megan's titties looked awesome. She'd give some very nice side boob.

She said the same thing to Anoop before he went back to the couch and then after that they were making bird noises and she was laughing. In the Top 12 episode her video pre-package crap was about how she didn't get anything in highschool or whatever in terms of music, like she didn't get into choir or plays or whatever so she essentially gave up trying but her family made her try out for Idol even though she said she'd never get in. I don't think acting out on the results show means she didn't know how to deal with not getting what she wanted, it sounds like she's used to that. It was probably just her way of dealing with it, it looked like she knew she was going already.

Say what you want about the pointless-ness of Randy, Kara, or Cowell's comments, but the pathetic Abdul joy sessions after Gokey and Lambert perform legit has me contemplating changing the channel, its sickening to watch. And despite me not being a fan of either, isn't really fair to those two, who still have to interact with everyone for 24/7 for weeks on end. The sad thing is, nearly all of the casual voters still buy into the hype and as we can see, truly effects the outcome of the show week in and week out. Its horrible.
