Was this the rule all along? Did Eric even know that if he won veto that he couldn't use it? And yes, when did this rule change? Would have he even been able to take Jess off the block with the veto or himself at any point in time? And this poses an even larger question, is it now not coincidence that Eric didn't get "chosen" to play for veto all those weeks? I know some of the house guests got to choose but maybe they were lead to believe choosing Eric wouldn't a be a good idea in the DR? I just can't believe they actually could tell someone, regardless if they were AP or not, what to do in the game as far as strategic moves. If it was such a big deal then they could have had a AP and asked what Eric should do with the veto. But to forbid Eric from using it entirely doesn't sound fair to me. So in knowing this, would Eric have used the veto he won to backdoor Dani if the producers let him have his own choice? Even if he probably knew that America would have had him vote out Amber ? I always thought it was that fear of still voting our Amber anyway that prevented Eric from using the veto. It was a great interview! Thanks for posting the links. I wish I had sent in a couple questions but maybe Senor can answer them if he likes. I would have asked why didn't Eric pitch to Zach to use the veto on him in order to get Dani out of the game in the fast forward week? Or did he and CBS chose to edit it out? And my other question was who's game in BB history has Eric respected the most and who in BB history do you think Eric's game was most similar to.

I am always curious to hear Senor's reflections and insights for their own sake, and not because he can somehow channel information from Eric or be Eric's spokesperson. I am not saying that we need to cut off all discussion here either about the game in general or Eric's game in particular (for example about the veto and what implications his inability to use it had for Eric's game or the larger game in general) but asking questions FOR Eric to SenorX just doesn't feel right, and I would encourage it happen in other forums. Sorry if that's bitchy of me or not my place to say. Great interview - both Eric and Jess talked very well about the game and did not bash the other HG's Happy: Eric said he could not use the veto! Loved that Jess said she would have trusted her instinct (instead of eric) if given another chance. Both were happy with Dick winning... They both said that they were counting on each other in the game. She was not mad about the money he won - that girl is a pr dream! I think they really like each other! (I know it's sappy!) If someone wants to ask a question to Senor about what Eric feels about something they have every right to. If Senor doesnt want to answer that then he can say that himself and redirect the questions to Erics myspace. Why you come here and say we shouldnt ask him about what Eric thinks but only about what Josh thinks is wierd to me. He said if he would have used the veto on Zack Danielle would have stayed 3 to 1. Acctually Zack told Eric that if he used the veto on him he would vote Danielle out. It would have been a tie and Jess wouldve voted out Danielel. I'm confused about what he could have done with the veto, was he not allowed to use it only on Amber or was he not allowed to use it on Zack as well. Because if he couldn't of used it on Zack (a non AP choice) how could he have used it on Jess (a non AP choice) when Jameka was the target. If he couldn't use it on Zack then he shouldn't have been able to use it on Jess. and Eric said if he won the Janellavision he would of used it on Jess and D&D would of had to go after someone else. Something is not adding up.

Re POV: I believe - and Eric of course is better to speak to this than I am - that he 100% couldn't use the POV on Amber and while not banned from using the POV on Zach the DR strongly pressured him not to. Moreover, he feared that if he removed zach and dani went up - Jam would vote to evict Dani, Zach hopefully would, Dick would vote to evict Amber and Eric would have to do the same - sure it would be 2-2 and Jess could break the tie to oust Dani, but then there'd by a return of the hinky vote, Eric could have tried to pin it on Zach but it's likely he would have been outed and then hated by everyone left in the game. So when the DR is pressuring you not to use it AND the "best case scenario" still screws you terribly, not using the POV in the one way you likely would be allowed to makes sense. And overall, I think this was a good interview - the answers were interesting, clarified a lot of things for the general public, and they didn't bash people - they spoke highly of dick and even complimented jen - good to hear. Zack would have taken himself off the block, still probably have voted out Amber, and Eric could have had an easier time laying doubt on the hinkey vote. Having said that, it just goes back to the butterfly effect of changing one thing, and the outcome of the game, and the more we find out about the DR influence in D & D winning, they probably would have convinced Zack to keep Dani anyway. The producers got what the producers wanted. On a side note: I have watched many seasons of BB, but this was the first time I was so involved with the live feeds, does anyone else have a hard time watching Survivor now knowing how much the shows are edited? I have been watching Kid Nation too (I'm ashamed to say) and all I think about is the editing on that show.

How many different ways can a question be asked? There were still a couple game questions I would have liked the answer to, guess that'll wait for his fan board. Jess and Eric are both very well-spoken and not bitter at all. How different from last week's interview when the winners were so bitter?! At least these two have it all in perspective. It's a game.

Cut D&D some slack - their RP interview was right on the heels of the finale - they were exhausted; had next to no time to talk to friends/family, watch tapes, and really come to terms with anything that had happened; etc. When Dick was on WPLJ yesterday he sounded great too - not bitter at all; not trashing other HGs. As Eric said a few times about different people last night, with time all will be fine.

I just kept thinking last week that if I had been lucky enough to be holding 550k, I wouldn't care how it got there! LOL!! Gimme me the money! It was just funny to me, that's all. On the other hand, if I were Jess or any of the others I may actually be bitter even with time away from the show. Not bitter towards Eric but towards the producers.

I cannot even imagine how difficult that must have been for him. He is a very independent man and to "have to" do what goes against everthing your head is telling you must have been damn near impossible for him. Then throw in Jessica and his relationship with her and you have the makings of a nervous breakdown. He should have gotten a lot more than 49,000, that money was damn hard earned!! Eric would have kicked ass if her were on his own in that house. He really deserves a second chance to play on his own, for himself.

At least that explanation makes sense in terms of Eric saying had he won the other POV he would have used it to save Jessica, since what you're saying is Eric could have used the POV he did win to save Zach but chose not to. But the way it was being discussed initially, it sounded like everyone was saying Eric couldn't use the POV he won at all, not on Amber and not on Zach, which would really suck as far as Producer interference goes. Thanks for the clarification - I only hope it's true.
