Didn't the Others kill the real Henry Gale? If so, why? They were creepy, but not hostile. They obviously didn't want the 815ers on the island and
they were capable of killing all of them, but they didn't....So why would they have killed Henry Gale the minute he landed in his balloon? Was it the
Widmore sticker?

I read somewhere that Emerson was a fan of Lost before ever being called to audition. He said one night he was watching it and the next thing he knew, he got
a role on it. Kinda cool, don't cha think?

phantom - I might have known that too if I wasn't too lazy to use Lostpedia. It was late.

The island needed Henry Gale dead so Ben could assume his identity, yada yada yada.

Wow where did this discussion about S2 come from?
Anyhoo FWIW I assumed Real HG died when his balloon crashed. The others stumbled on it, buried him and Ben was ready to assume his ID if captured. |

He also found RealHenry's driver licence and photo (he was black) but also found the dollar bill in his pocket on which he wrote a note to his wife indicating he was trying to find a way off the island. He was murdered by the Others. |

Or by a time-traveling Sayid?

Yeah, Ben doesn't strike me as a neck-breaker.

CoconutPhone wrote:Me :P Season 5's "He's Our You" is a bookend episode to season 2's "One Of Them"...the episode Ben's character is introduced (a Sayid centric episode, as well) The early episode shows Ben drawing Sayid back to his past as torturer...the last episode shows Ben drawing Sayid back to his past as a killer...the early episode begins with Ben getting shot with protests by Sayid...the last episode ends with Ben getting shot by Sayid's hands...yadda yadda yadda... So that season 2 Ben introduction episode is very relevant to this one ;) |

Dude look up 'rhetorical'.

Rhetorical questions always make some kind of point though...there is always an obvious reason behind it, making an interesting comment through it.

You do realize that he's probably going to answer that rhetorical question too.
