Not a single person from the New York City auditions made the Top 13! Why do they insist on going back there every year for that freak show? Seriously, they
need to have a majority of the audition cities always be in the south.

Because people who can actually sing in New York get real jobs, sign actual recording contracts, and star in dozens of shows on Broadway. Singers in bumfuck
fly-over states do not have those opportunities.
