I have been rooting for Adam and Allison fromI early on but I admit I am sorry to see Scott go. He is a classy, funny sweet man and a good musician. Maybe not the best singer this year on AI but a class act and he'll be missed. Now Gokey? Put him on an ice floe pointed to nowhere. Bye Scott. We'll miss you.THIS. I really wish he sang better than he does. And I am glad he sings as well as he does, because he was a delight to see for a few weeks. (I imagine he was not the first blind person ever to audition. Just the first good enough to actually build a story on.) Heh. Watch him be one of the AI8ers who actually makes music for a living the rest of his life. Meanwhile, a lot of this crew will offer you their homemade CD with the fries on the side, LIL. |

Anyone here know he had one? And that he was sick for 2 years waiting for it, too sick and weak to sing or practice?
And unlike Gokey, he hid is background from America so he wouldn't get more pity votes. He didn't want them for being blind but he couldn't hide that. |

Now, what I am trying to figure out is this: Somehow he managed to graduate from high school at the age of 14, graduate college at 19 and get a Master's Degree in piano performance by the age of 21.... and still have time to be incapacitated by massive kidney failure for two years. Say what you want about his average vocals, but this man is really remarkable.

I really missed him in this week's show. I mean, he would've been just another contestant choosing a sucky ballad but at least that one contestant
would've been Scott. <3 If that makes any sense.

Nearly a month has passed and I'm dragging this baby up from the fiery pits of Gokey hell. Why? Because Scott's put up a new song on his myspace and it's called "I'll take Tom" and it's a myspace break-up song and
I don't care what y'all think, I think it's just amazing. And funny. So there.

Matts been very complimentary of scott in interviews. He seems to have really enjoyed scott. Theyd have piano wars in the basment of the mansion at midnight!

Oh, good, I am glad to see this back up. I don't think Scott's boot was particularly unjust, but I miss the guy. He has done quite a good job of
generating content for his fans on his website.
I know this is not going to happen, but I think about three minutes footage of a Matt/Scott piano duel for the finale would be AWESOME. |

I thought Scott left when he should. He is a good singer/ pianist and whatever, but not really right for the competition. He seems like a really fucking funny
person though, and for awhile it seemed like he was the ONLY person with any personality. Good for him for putting up content on his myspace

I just went and listened to that song. I have now figured out what Scott MacIntyre's musical niche is. He needs to be a musical comedian. He's not a
breathtaking vocalist, but he is clever as hell.
