Wisconsin



So Wisconsin is well know for being a place where there is a lot of dairy farming, but is that all that they want to be known for. I am sure there are a lot of other different and interesting things about Wisconsin that could be put on a license plate for all to see, but none would really stick in people's head like the Dairy image. There is some serious truth in advertising on this license plate: Wisconsin really is known for all of it's Dairy farming. Like I said earlier they could put any number of different slogans on the license plate, but everyone just knows and loves Wisconsin as the Dairy State.

New Jersey



The first gradient background to appear on this countdown. The gradient just makes the license plate look so much better than just a solid color for the background. I don't know why so many states just have a white background when they could clearly have a gradient background and make it look loads better. That is mainly why I ranked New Jersey this high. Although the color of yellow they used is totally cringe-worthy. Having the Sandra Bullock approved phrase "Oil and Petrochemical Refinery State" on the license plate would have been totally laffos and made the license plate rank a lot higher on my list.

California



I kept it off the list for about as long as I could, but it just has to rank here. The ranking has an error percentage of plus or minus three spots though. Meaning in retrospect it could be ranked higher based on what I am feeling on that particular day. A cool font for the state name can only take you so far and the font of the state name took this license plate past eleven other plates alone. California is just cool man!!
