I would never have let it get to this point.

Noirin should have told him days ago that she would not have any more one-on-one discussions with him. He just uses them as his opportunity to be even more syrupy, creepy and to put her on the spot. And she shouldn't let him touch her at all. Noirin should have noticed by now that Sree has the personality of a 10 year old with severe brain damage and sending him any kind of mixed message will only encourage him. She still keeps tip-toeing around the truth every time she promises a future friendship with him. I think she is used to being a tease, but never had this kind of parasite to deal with before.

I still hate Lisa, but that was nice of her to tell Sree to give it up. Of course he will not listen, but at least she tried. I despise Sree, but I am glad he will have another week in the house to make a complete jackass out of himself. I don't feel sorry for him because in addition to being clueless and naive, he is also an obnoxious shithead.

But Halfwit and Sree also have completely different personalities and IQs in addition to the differences you mentioned. Sree acts like a fucking moron no matter how the others respond to him. There is no doubt in my mind that everybody in Sree's life back home treats him like a toddler (and that probably has a lot to do with why he acts this way, and the fact that he is stupid.) Not saying the bullies aren't racist/classist but I don't think that's why they infantilize Sree. If he were an intelligent alpha-male they would probably respond to him in a totally different (but still jerky) way. Half Wit is a weirdo, but he is able to pick up on and react appropriately to social clues (to a certain extent) and he is not an unlikeable dolt like Sree.

Yeah, the I'm going to the shower hug was so cheesy and pathetic. Why does she keep telling him she will be his friend when obviously that just leads him on more? He is not normal, any kind of subtly will not work with him. Continuing to promise friendship when he is obviously taking it the wrong way is passive aggressive behavior on Noirin's part.

If she refuses to tell him the real truth (that she can't stand him anymore) she should at least be using the promise of "friendship" as a weapon against him. Ie: "If you don't stop touching me and following me around I will not be your friend anymore." And then go through with it if he doesn't stop. Any other response to him at this point is just bullshit.

You can't be nice to some people. That is a fact of life. And Noirin is no saint.

I've noticed that Sree has his hands all over everybody in that house, including the men. He is so creepy. They all need to tell him to keep his distance.
