42. Ryuhei Sasagawa (Male Student Number 10-36th Place)

Much like in Survivor, in Battle Royale, early on, you're bound to have a bunch of players who go invisible. Unlike Survivor though, several of these players got no screentime whatsoever. Ryuhei is one of these players. He was part of the Kazuo Kiriyama gang, which was basically like signing a death warrant for himself, as 3/5 of that gang were dead within two books in the manga. He was barely shown except as a member of that group, and while he had a few lines, they weren't important. He was basically a dick that didn't do anything other than act dickish whenever he was shown, so he gets dead last on my list.


41. Izumi Kanai (Female Student Number 5-34th Place)

Yeah, Izumi was completely ignored during the book and the manga. No lines, no nothing. In the manga, they tried to tack on some lame-ass story about how Yutaka loved her, but she was bland and not even attractive. She got captured by two of Kazuo's gang, wanting to rape her, and she then got shot by Kazuo just like a dozen other players. She's better than Ryuhei because she wasn't a dick.


40. Hiroshi Kuronaga (Male Student Number 9-35th Place)

Yup, the invisible trio from the Kiriyama massacre are the first three players to show up on my list. Hiroshi was another member of Kiriyama's gang, a gang that I generally enjoyed, hence Hiroshi making it even this high on the list. He had no story, no talking, and basically seemed like he tagged along with the cooler members of the gang. I guess I prefer him for not being a total dick and for having some sort of potential for personality, even if it wasn't there.


39. Mayumi Tendo (Female Student Number 14-40th Place)

Yup, we're not done with the INV characters yet. Mayumi basically got screwed by being the last character to leave the school before the main character, and as such, she was the perfect target to be the first real kill of the game, just to put the fear of God into the main character. not mch to say about Mayui, other than that her corpse interaction with Shuya was better than the previous three.


38. Fumiyo Fujiyoshi (Female Student Number 18-41st Place)

Fumiyo was the first kill of the game that really came out of nowhere. I mean, someone died before her, but he had threatened the host of the game and basically deserved to be killed in self-defense. Fumiyo's death was really fucked up because she basically had a knife thrown into her skull because she whispered too loudly. Her death, despite being boring as fuck and doing nothing as a second-boot, was still epic as hell and enough to make her queen of the INVs.
