She had a major label deal, his was indie. That said both were attempting to do the same thing, they both wanted to be artists and break into the music industry. Different capacities, same dream. Now they're still both following the same dream and they have another chance. I don't see how you can really justify being against one (like Probstfan was against Carly's past career) and not the other. Everyone this year is just using AI as another avenue, they tried other things before, it didn't work out for them and now they're hear fighting for the same thing. I don't care about anyone's past experience, I care about being entertained and I care about whose music I would personally listen too.

They ran out of David Cook's CD and that's why it isn't available anymore (he couldn't have had that many made) or 2. The AI Producers now realize that they are sitting on a potential gold mine so they want to stop sales of the CD because it would complete with David's CD for 19?

If David Cook had been bashed along with Carly and the others at the start of the season for being a plant, I would have been fine with it. If they had wanted to boot David and Carly and Brooke out of the competition at the start of the season, I would have been okay with that too. But since they didn't do anything about it then, it's kind of silly to be talking about it now that there's only a few weeks left in the season. It's a little late in the game for that. This is an issue that they can (and should) address in the off season.

You've admitted it's no big deal to have a CD before the show (whether it be Brooke, Cook or Carly), and that's good enough for me. :) Lovejonze, that thought did occur to me as well. I didn't think about the CDs printed but more about how they don't want to miss out on any money they could make.

His CD was only available on Amazon as digital downloads. I'm pretty sure sure those don't run out. I'd have a hard copy if one could be had.
