The winner's thread typically gets to stick around presumably b/c they're likely to appear on the new season (sometimes multiple times) and they have a
current musical offering.
Mantasia's thread has been moved to past seasons from what I can tell. That said I believe new threads concerning recent and relevant news about a former contestant are permitted in this section, at least during the off-season anyway. Not everyone ventures to the past seasons section and perhaps some may be concerned that Mantasia's house was being foreclosed on or that KKKristy was dropped by Arista...again. |

It doesn't seem right that this thread was moved. His year as the reigning winner is not up yet. I mean, Miss America doesn't hand over her crown
until the new winner is announced. Feel free to keep his hate thread current, too, but doesn't the winner get a full year of current thread status? What
is the usual protocol?
Or should there be a new thread with ongoing news discussion? |
