tribe must vote out one person (solely based on first impressions) before the game begins. There is a cryptic comment from CBS that those 2 people might get a
second chance to make a first impression. So, maybe they are sent to the other tribe. "The Sweet 16 will be divvied up into two tribes from the beginning
- Jalapao and Timbira - forcing them to play the devious Survivor game based on first impressions. How devious is it? One person from each tribe will be
selected to stay put while their fellow castaways continue on. But, as CBS teases, they may "get a second chance to make a first impression.""

If I'm analyzing Jeff Probst's commentary like someone does every season, I say Candace, Sandy, Stephen, Spencer and Erinn are early boots. Big
characters may be Ben, James, Joe, Taj and Sierra. The rest fall somewhere in the middle.

Also, about the twist, I believe Sandy is chosen not to stay with Jalapao and ends up on Timbira, because Tyson talks in the "Meet the Cast" video
about the "old woman" who doesn't respect his space and how he doesn't like her, and they show Sandy. Could be misdirection, but it looks
like the person that is chosen switches tribes.

I don't know, but I do think Jeff probably talks extensively about each contestant, and I think what's chosen to be shown maybe somewhat significant.

This interview is pre-show, so it might just be there are extra players with them initially, but I thought it an odd comment. |

Here are some of my impressions. Joe, Spencer, James and Steven all look the same to me and to make things even worse they're all on the same tribe. The Three Blonde women Sydney, Seirra and Debbie all look the same to me too, even if Debbie is supposed to be older, I don't think any of them have much of a personality at all. Then there are the two Black women, Taj and Candace (I don't know why but for some reason I am bothered by the fact that there's another Candace, I can already tell she's no Candice Woodcock. Benjamin looks like a diet version of Shane Powers Tyson looks like a diet version of Marcus from last season who I also really boring, and a diet version is even boringer!!!!!!!!!!!! Branden, I really don't have much an oppinion on, he looks pretty much just like those other guys Sandy is the only one who sounds remotly entertaining, but I'm sure she's going to be exactly like every other crazy older woman they've had on the show. Well there you go, there's my oppinion of the cast. I will probably watch the season, but I am not expecting anything from it. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprized, maybe they'll actually be edited to have personalities. All in all the cast has no personality. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Geez Crystal. Speaking of judging people on first impressions. "All in all the cast has no personality." Seriously? You've discovered that after spending time getting to know these people? You've seen 30 seconds of edited footage of each of them. What does it take to actually have a personality in your opinion? Im honestly curious. What a negative person you can be. I bet you and Corrinne would make great bed-fellows. |

Gut instinct on this one- the Day 3 pics from TV Guide tell us Candace is swapped to the Red team day 1. She's looks unhappy in that pic, and I'm
guessing it's because she's having to stand with the people who booted her Day 1 for a publicity shot.

Okay, so the buffs really are BLACK.
Just after they load off the truck JP states that they are going to force the 'first impressions' and says "Immediately, we are going to force them to vote someone out of each tribe" "One person from each tribe is not going to make this journey" Did someone say there is a twist that they are voting someone out of their own tribe, and that person joins the other tribe? That would explain how they might have only 16 players, one tribal council is for the first swap. INTERESTING.
