Were these first 2 episodes 1 hour long? And then the end result was a NEL? Wow, the network must have a lot of money if that's the case.

Ep #2 is 65 minutes without commercials, so they're presumably an hour and a half each?

Given both episodes were in the same country, I don't think it's especially big budget (though it looks moreso than TAR: Asia)

Episode 3 is EXCELLENT. And there's still not been any eliminations

Previously on TAR Israel: The Kibbutz Moms gets stuck in the mud and the models don't help; Maor/Asher pick the slow Detour; Ran conquers her fears at the bungee; Eliana/Yael screw up at the last minute, letting the hot-young-dating-couple win.

Reward for being the first to arrive was the chance to sleep in a comfortable cabin instead of rubbishy tents.

FLY TO CAPETOWN

Departure Order

1. Maya/Amichal, hot couple
2. Eliana/Yael, random girls
3. Michal/Ran, married couple

4. Hadas/Inbal, blondes
5. Gil/Tom, step-dad & daughter

Amichal tries to block the girls at the airport carpark for a randomly douchey reason. Maya lets Michal/Ran and Gil/Tom push in front of the girls 0_0 Which has no effect, but causes a big row.

For some reason, the
blondes get lost, causing them to miss the first flight. They arrive 5th but the airport is closed and they are told it doesn't open until 7:30.

9. Hannah/Marglit, crazy old ladies
10. Maor/Asher, goofy best friends - who apparently had their money taken away, so go begging in a petrol station.

Despite arriving 9th, Hannah Marglit use Danny/Oswald charms to ensure they can get on the second flight out.

ARRIVAL AT TABLE MOUTAIN CLUEBOX

FIRST FLIGHT

At the funicular to the top, the girls beg their way to get on the first carriage up even though it is completely full; Michal/Ran try to shove their forward and sneak their way through, but the girls make sure they don't get on. Ran says "bad karma" (). Eliana/Yael waste a bunch of time trying to find a map and leave as the BQs arrive - but they use their looks to get a taxi-driver to lead them to the Detour despite not having enough money.

SECOND FLIGHT

8. Alen/Ichbal

Despite getting to the mountaintop 6th, Alen/Inbal get lost and bicker <3 I have no idea how the other teams fell so far behind

The BQs steal the old ladies' taxi (actually the BQs get their first, but the kibbutz ladies get comedy music so we're supposed to like them more <3). Then the oldies tell the taxi-driver "We are the old and the last, we want to be the first and the young!"

THIRD FLIGHT

Maor/Asher spend even more time begging (even little children come over to give them money, how coot) thinking they are in last by a huge margin; then the blondes show up, making a Mojo-esque mistake.

Asher yells "Amazing Race" and tries to beg by telling everyone that "if we win, you will win". Then they take requests and sing the theme to 'Rawhide' for money.

ARRIVAL AT DETOUR: Visit the Nelson Wineyard and roll a winebarrel down a path, then carry wine in a bucket from a larger cask to fill it up OR have one team member shoot 6 clay pigeons each/

The blondes follow a taxi, then abandons it halfway, trying to get away without paying him.

DETOUR FINISHING ORDER

Liran/Elena arrive at the shooting in 4th place, but after trying for ages and only getting one hit, they decide to switch. As they leave, Elina/Yael's taxi-driver stops in their way and tries to swindle them out of extra money - they give them their $300 sunglasses and drive off, then stops, gives some money and takes the glasses back.

6. Alen/Ichbal - who epically pass the old ladies rolling a barrel. Then Alen pours a bucket of wine over his head as he finishes the task. Intensity <3
7. Hannah/Marglit

Having switched tasks, the BQs carry their wine barrel - but they do it so badly they smack it against a rock on the way, causing it to get a leak, which they don't notice =0 Eventually they waste so much wine they get told and are forced to completely restart the task after Maor/Asher have already arrived.

8. Hadas/Inbal - when shooting, the kickback hurts her shoulder (Will it have consequence??)

When carrying the barrel back, one of the BQs has some sort of freakout/reaction.

TRAVEL TO ATLANTIS DUNE - TASK: SURF DOWN IT - (ARRIVAL + FINISHING ORDER)

Unlike the TAR2 version, they had a to travel through a specially marked goal area. If one team-member lost they had to climb back and both do it again, which actually makes it much harder.

ROADBLOCK - DRIVE AROUND A RANDOM RACE COURSE WITH AN AVERAGE LAPTIME OF 2 MINUTES

This is unsurprisingly really boring without the Weavers to have a breakdown over it.
Guy/Shay arrive first but do a time of 2:03, so have to do a five lap penalty before trying again.
