Yep. The worst movie I watched in '08. While I did find Pitch Black mildly entertaining, this follow up movie was just horrid in comparison. I was better off just going to sleep and hitting the snooze button for the two and a half hours it took me to watch this. Pathetic. Convoluted. Boring. And Vin Diesel is just a sad, sad actor. I seriously want to sue the people who made this movie for that time of my life back. There is nothing redeeming whatsoever about this film. Don't watch it.

I don't think I have ever watched a movie more appropriately titled. This movie will make you want to gag yourself. I had high expectations based on the cover and the description on the box. It looked like a Saw/Hostel kind of movie, and I liked both of those. What I got was a low budget film student movie with horrible camera work and terrible effects. While the plot and premise was ok, the filming and execution of this movie was ghastly. The only good thing about it was that it was short. Avoid this like the plague.

The Wailer part 1 was exactly what I expected - a low budget, Hispanic, campy horror film. It was ok. I expected them at the very at least to improve on the format of the original for the second movie. My expectations were not met. While the first one was slightly scary and had good character development, the second fell flat in every category. No development, it wasn't scary at all, it was just as low budget as the first, and the acting was atrocious. Again, the only good thing about it was that it was short. Not a good sign.

This could have ruined a great franchise. I don't know what the makers of this were thinking.

It is true. Michael Myers appeared dead at the end of Halloween 2. Honestly, I don't know how they resurrected him from that explosion and having both his eyes shot out for H4. But whatever. This movie is a disgrace. Despite having Michael Myers appear on a TV commercial in the film, this movie has nothing to do with Halloween at all. I only watched it because it was a part of the series. Without the franchise title, this movie would have been even more of a flop than it already was.

To sum it up, this movie revolves around some evil mask maker programming all his masks to explode in a mess of snakes and bugs (SERIOUSLY!!!) on Halloween and kill everyone wearing said masks. That's about it. Sad, sad, excuse for a movie.
