I'm glad this show's coming back. Total Drama Island (the cartoon version of Survivor) is back for season 2.
This time it's Total Drama Action.
It starts January 11, 2009 in Canada. It starts online before that.
Summer 2009 in America.
Chris Maclean will return as the host, and Chef Hatchet will return as the chef.
The show takes place on an abandoned film studio back lot, where the contestants will stay for six weeks, competing in various movie genre-themed challenges,
for one million dollars.
The Losers will take the Red Carpet Walk of Shame to the Limo of Losers and leave Total Drama Action forever. There will be fourteen returning contestants from
season one.
The returning campers returning will be Beth, DJ, Gwen, Geoff, Lindsay, Heather, Duncan, Harold, Trent, Bridgette, Leshawna, Owen, Justin, and Izzy.
Cody, Eva, Ezekial, Noah, Katie, Sadie, and Tyler will not be returning, but are expected to star in a talk-show segment.
It is unclear if Courtney is participating,even though she was seen in the latest TDA trailer.

I can't believe how sucked into this show I got -- I kept thinking, come on, they drew it, there's no "winner," and yet I found myself
rooting for Gwen as if she were going to be on some live TV show. Maybe I need help...

It said Summer 2009 at the end. I'm thinking maybe it's January 11 for Canada and Summer for the US. So Canada gets to watch it first again. At
least it's not that much of a difference this time. TDI aired in 2007 in Canada and 2008 in the US. TDA is just starting a few months earlier in Canada.
