He didn't have a plan, but just being Bob was enough in Gabon. He was a hard worker and got things done around camp, and as I said became the father figure of everyone out there. He may not have actively strategized and rode coattails to the end (which is a strategy) but he got to the end with enough votes to win (which 17 other people that season failed to do). He had a better social game than many other winners, and was better at challenges than many other winners. He may have suffered strategically but that is only one aspect of a "deserving" winner.
I don't know what show you're watching, but Bob wasn't even riding a coattail. He's just there looking stupid and suddenly Sugar saved him. Next episode too. He's just there and Sugar deemed Crystal evil so he's saved. Next episode Sugar deemed Kenny evil, so he's saved again.There's no coattail he's riding. He's just lucky.
As I said, He is a winner but he's not deserving it. To be honest Sugar is more deserving the title not only because she's a puppetmaster but she defines Gabon (though I hate her coz she single handedly ruined Gabon.)
And Bob wasn't well liked. The Onion voted for him coz they hate Susie and Sugar. Even Randy admitted He would've voted for Sugar if she didn't insult him.
The Onion alliance called Bob lazy and annoying. Susie called Bob annoying.

@ people saying Earl was the worst winner just because they
hated to see a black male win Survivor. Earl had his alliance, made some moves and at least had a decent gameplay. On the other hand, Bob did jackshit beside
winning immunity necklaces and take naps while people were talking about who to vote for before TC. I mean come on.
