And agree with you about Linsay. After seeing the E.O. pictures I really wish Linsay would have won. She is such an incredible role model as well for anyone raised on a reservation. I am not sure what they are like in the US, but they are very low income and high drug, suicide and premature death communes that the first nations people have been forced to live on.

Linsay is the beautiful intelligent and successful side of what can happen from a place like Suckers Creek reservation. I see why they called her an old soul, that is part of the mystique and culture of the first nations people.

I can honestly say I don't know a ton about the Native American culture here. I do know there are casinos popping up everywhere here in WA state. I went from hating on Linsay in the last episode to actually thinking she should win. She won me over by the end. I hope she can get a modeling career going before she gets any older. It is funny, I just got my haircut by my lovely Persian stylist, and she just got back from Lake Tahoe. Her first trip to the US from Canada. She said it took 3 years to get her Canadian Passport, and that if she wanted to go to the US prior to that, she would have to obtained a visa through the Iranian embassy to the USA. And that would/could take months to a year.

So case closed, Iranian nationals need a visa to travel to the USA.

Was she really a First Nation's or did she just happen to live on a reserve. I just ask because my Grandfather was an honourary chief in the reserve he lived in and my ex-colleague grew up on a reserve but her entire family was from France.

You know Ash, I am not sure, she does have some affect and appearance of someone with Canadian aboriginal heritage. But her experience must be that of a girl who grew up on a reserve, and for that alone she should be commended.
