Some of you might have seen the Survivor show last week when Mattie won that challenge to have his girlfriend come on the island for a visit. Well, a lot of
times those family visits are tense, but Mattie and his girlfriend had such a good time that he spontaneously got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!
(One of the best moments in television history, imo.)
Anyway, I saw Mattie and his girlfriend at Target on Balsam Drive last night and they were registering! They both looked so different cleaned up! I didn't want to seem like one of those crazy stalker fans so I didn't talk to them, but I followed them around the store to see what they were scanning. Apparently they both like the Shabby Chic look, because a lot of what they were choosing was very low rent. How can two adults not own a blender yet?
Anyway, when they finished registering, they went to the front to turn in the scanner. After they left, I asked the girl at the desk what name they had registered under (I told her I was an old friend from college!) . So here's where the invitation part comes in...Because they are both big celebrities now, they registered under fake names. But if you go to Target, look up the registry for Todd Kirkland and Tonia Preston. Date of Wedding is June 13, 2009. Does anyone else want to go in on a gift?
