Yep. I read somewhere that their passports were turned into the US Embassy, but it took a day or two.

I'm surprised Phil didn't mention how they were missing. I thought that would have been pretty important that a team wasn't there. Maybe they
could have shown them stuck in Russia like they showed the Guidos in Alaska that time.

Now I am going to have to watch the season finale for season 1. I thought for sure they showed the Guidos getting a note saying the final teams had crossed
the finish line but then again they were in the final three. I don't think there has ever been a team missing from the eliminated teams before.

They did show the Guidos reading their clue saying the race is over.

It also happened in one of the other early seasons -- an alpha male team was stuck in the South Pacific running third as the race ended.

Yeah, David/Jeff in TAR4 got a note too I believe, cause they decided to like fly to a larger country to get better connections and got boned, if I remember
correctly.
