If I remember correctly, Kim's team (with Kai et al.) had a much higher winning percentage in the team challenges than Bob's did. Personally, I like
Kim (even with man hands). I think that she has a more realistic training approach than Bob. I liked when she argued with him about not completely (physically)
burning out the teams right before a physical challenge. I mean, do you want the team to be fresh for the challenge or not? I have to say from a training
standpoint I absolutely agree with this. Additionally, there was talk in the other thread about how Icky was working out @ 3MPH and how lame that is. All of
the research that I have seen always shows that long endurance submaximal aerobic activity can really help shed body fat quickly. High intensity, anarobic
activity doesn't. It does other things, but is not a major fat burner. This is probably the ONLY reason Icky has stayed in the game is due to these
solitary workouts. Knowing her, she read up a bit on exercise theory and realized that she might need to do this. I have found that Kim sort of subscribes to
this training method (to a degree) that is why she does not appear to work her team as hard as others.

 I guess she
could have been talking about the Aussie version?

TEAM GRAY! Carla (right) is the heaviest women evah on the show: 379 lbs! =OOOO (left) was seen getting into a massive argument with Bob <3. 
TEAM BLUE! They were INV. 
TEAM YELLOW! Not much of them in the previews. Except the right side girl was whining to Jill about her back. Then Jillian was like "Guess what else is going to hurt?......EVERYTHING!" They are also sisters.
TEAM GREEN! Looks like the might avoid the first boot curse. They were pimping them out in the previews a little bit so I'm expecting them to be one of the stars. They showed them in the first weigh in and they lost pretty big. They are also both former models. 
TEAM BLACK! Not much of them in the preview. One of them was lying on the ground by a treadmill with Jillian screaming at him to get back up.
TEAM ORANGE! Daniel (right) is the heaviest person ever on the show: 459 lbs! He says he will have a record biggest weight loss ever. Then they show him losing 30 lbs. 
TEAM PURPLE! Another team they hyped up. The mom was an alcoholic and they have an estranged relationship. Michelle/Renee and Ali/Betty Sue 2.0. 
TEAM PINK! Looks to be another mother/daughter team. They too were INV in the preview. Not as glamorous or fierce as their formers 
TEAM WHITE! The guy (Jerry!) is the oldest ever on the show, 63 years young. 
TEAM RED! Another couple they briefly mentioned. They are engaged to be married and want to lose weight for their wedding! Typical. 
TEAM BROWN! They focused on them a bit too. Father/Son (obvs) and he feels guilty for being a bad role model. The son is the youngest person ever on the show. From what I could tell the teams were divided like this: Jillian: Yellow (for sure) Black (for sure) Green (for sure) Orange (for sure) Purple? Bob: Gray (for sure) Blue (for sure) Red (for sure) Unknowns: Pink Brown White It's also entirely possible that one person from each pair was on a different team (with a different trainer) because I never saw both people with one trainer. So we got half of our wish about going back to singles. There would be teams again and no pair voting at least until individuals start. Also when they were showing the weigh in, they only had 1 person above the yellow line. Maybe the winning couple gets to send someone home this season? Who knows it could just be for the first episode. My faves so far are Green, Purple, Gray, and Orange (a little). The old couple look cute too. |

How in the hell are they doing this with 11 teams? Is there a special team of 2 past fatties that gained their weight back since Bob mentioned season 1
winner/loser Ryan?
Either way thank fucking GOD Jillian is still there. I'd die if fucking Manhands came back and no Jillian. And that preview was depressing. 18 and 19 year old fatties and the 19 year old being the fattest contestant ever. But I'm gonna laugh if all their first times/record holders of fattest contestant, woman, youngest, oldest, all get picked off immediately leaving them bores like the blue team. Carla/Jerry/18 yr old ftw though!!!! |

If I had to make a guess right now on the longevity of the teams I would put them in the following categories:
Early Departures: Blue Pink White Red Midgame: Gray Purple Obvious producer's favorite teams they want us to root for by showing them so much in the previews: Green Black Brown Yellow? Orange just my opinion |

kick ass and I'd drop BL like a hot potato. I'm SO over Bob and "we must get him a win" mentality.

psycho. Jillian getting psycho is a given (though still fun to watch) but when Bob does it, it seems to just come out of nowhere.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if 2-3 teams got eliminated right at the beginning and left by the side of the road and suddenly Man Hands showed up to train
them?
I'm still waiting for them to pull an Average Joe and have a secret team of 400-500lb men show up on a barge in the middle of the season. So many possibilities. |
