So I have gone out with a couple of women since I broke up with my girlfriend early this year. Both are super nice, beautiful, sexy, and smart. But there is
just no spark or chemistry.
There is this woman I met through my business last winter. We talked 4 or 5 times in an official capacity. Each time was like fireworks going off. Electric. We'd talk about nothing for an hour after we were done with business. Even during business it was nothing but engaging. She was single at the time, but I wasn't. If I was, I would have asked her out in a heartbeat. Others who saw us together told me after she left that we should get together. They could see it too.
She is just all around awesome. Mid-30s, funny, graceful, natural, genuine, not conceited, beautiful.
Here is the dilemma. It's almost been a year since I last saw her. She gave me a work number, work email address, and her home phone number at the time. She is no longer with the company she was with at the time, so all I have is her home phone number.
I hate the phone at the best of times, so I really can't figure out a way or excuse to call her at home. My usual way with women is to talk to them in a social setting, turn on a bit charm and wit, and when there is a connection, ask.
The phone is just too impersonal. I could get a "and you are...?" or "why are you calling me at home?" She could be with somebody. But I don't want to miss the little chance I could have with this woman.
Ideas. I need ideas. I've already checked to see if she has a Facebook account. nada. Women secrets. I need women secrets!
