I loved the 2nd ep more than the first. I think her likability factor went up in this episode.
I hope the gay nurse puts "Coop" in an awkward situation so we can see Coop grab his package.

I'm a donor as well. Why let your innards rot when others can use them?

The lady being that loopy from one of Jackie's Sweet n Low packests seemed a little far fetched. Jackie is perfectly normal and she pops 3 of those a day,
granted she may have a tolerance built up but there wouldn't be that big of a difference.
When I read she was a pill popper too I thought, she will be a female version of House, but it didn't turn out that way and I find the characters to be interesting and I look forward to seeing where this goes. Plus she finally gets to bang Father Phil. |

I don't understand not being a donor. WTF are you going to do with them after you're dead?

Episode 2 didn't make me disliker her any more than I did in Episode 1, but it didn't make me like her any more either.

Three episodes have shown? I thought only two. Hmm, can't figure out how I missed one.

You didn't. The 3rd hasn't aired but it is On Demand. I've not yet seen it either.

The third episode is on Showtime OnDemand, if you have it. It hasn't aired yet.

No, the lady's loopiness was over the top. Walking into a window and cracking up? Any normal person might laugh for a second but then would immediately
sense that they've been drugged. They would be paranoid and worried, especially someone in her profession.

Half the time it knocked me out and the other half I was wide awake for a long time. So it's not even that different drugs affect people differently, sometimes it's the same drug that affects the same person differently. |

I watched a little bit of it, and it wasn't that bad.
Sadly I only get showtime on certain occasions. I just haven't brought myself to order it. |

I'm finding this show oddly engaging. Yes, the lead character is unlikeable, but I find myself liking her anyways (although, anyone who would cheat on
Dominic Fumusa should be shot).
That said, is anyone finding Edie Falco's acting less than inspiring? I know she's an Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG-winning actress, but the thing that bothers me the most about the show is her acting. |

This show's a bit cliched and boring, but I'll give it one more ep.

Yeah, her acting is lacking. It has funny parts though.
Jackie: Is Roy your friend? Or roommate? Guy whose balls were shredded: No. Roy is my cat. |

Was last night's episode 3? bc I've been watching on torrent and apparently the torrents are 1 episode ahead and no torrent for this week
Yeah I agree that the show is trying too hard to have someone abusing drugs every 2 minutes. With Weeds or The Sopranos and any other good show about illegal activity, the illegal stuff was a main focus, but there was better shit going on. Jackie's trouble about her dumbass daughter being afraid of aliens just isn't cuttin it for me. I bet the show is trying to make Jackie's drug addiction the main issue, but apparently it's going swimmingly for her... |

I am a donor. The thought of people needlessly dying because they need an organ transplant (especially children) is heartbreaking to me and I think everyone
should be donors. What if you or your family member or close friend were dying because they couldn't get a life-saving transplant? Once you are dead,
your body will be burned or buried and serves absolutely no purpose. Why wouldn't you want to do something useful with any viable organs before it all
goes to waste? "Please recycle" yourself.
I finally got around to watching the first two eps of this yesterday. I recorded them, but hadn't gotten around to watching and wasn't sure if I'd like it. Well, I do really like it and am thrilled to read it is renewed for a second season already. As a matter of fact, I am so disgusted with Weeds lately, that I am glad there is something worth watching now on Monday night. I don't have everyone's names down yet, but I love the gay nurse and the inappropriate touching Tourette's doctor. They are my fave supporting characters so far. I don't know how Nurse Jackie could get away with everything she is doing in the real world (although maybe she could, I don't know), but it makes for a great show. Flushing that asshole's ear down the toilet and stealing his money and giving it to the pregnant girlfriend was great. Stuff like that makes me like Jackie. Being addicted to painkillers and cheating on her fairly hot husband with the pharmacy guy makes her more unsympathetic. She is a perfectly flawed heroine and I am sure I will come to completely love her just as I do serial killer Dexter. |
